For a crime as heinous as aiding and abetting an act of terrorism which took the lives of hundreds of innocent people, these guys should be put behind bars.

So what if he is a good actor, or if his father did good deeds, fact of the matter remains that he agreed to accept the fire arms, with the full knowledge of its intended use, the extent of the act of terror which was being planned. There was cold blooded intention behind the whole act, so all other virtues need to take a back seat in the face of such inhuman acts.

I havent had a chance to see the report, will wait to read the whole report and then see how much the judiciary has bent backwards to accomodate politicians, their games and their "principles".

I agree with you didi, why is it that just because your a celebrity or someone close to you has done a something big, you can buy your way out of everything? Sanjay Dutt is still a human, so why can't he pay the price as an ordinary man would for possesing weapons. Thats unfair, sanjay dutt bought his way out of this case

I do agree that majority of our politicians should be sitting behind bars, but right now, we are speaking and discussing the case of the Bombay Blasts.

If he were a ordinary citizen, like some others we have seen earlier who have been sentenced to longer terms, He would have been held guilty for aiding and abetting and participating in the conspiracy.

An ordinary collector in the district of Raigad (Srivardhan) was held guilty for clearing the consignment (which wasnt declared as RDX) which was the RDX used in the bombay blasts. What was his fault? That he went on the basis of the declarations made to him, that his verifrications did not reveal the RDX, that he had been paid a small sum of money to not verify the material (which is pretty normal anyways)🤢

If he is found guilty, why not Mr. Dutt, who was aware of the conspiracy, who invited Abu Salem and the others to his house on a day when he knew his father would not be around, found a way of taking in the arms while hoodwinking his fathers security......... we are speaking about a man who had no qualms in plotting a conspiracy against the nation, in the very house where his father, then a Minister, was staying.😡

Fact remains that there was a conspiracy hatched. He is no fool to know that D company was bringing in RDX in such quantities, that fire arms was got in. Obviously these are not required to play Diwali!!! This was so obviously meant to play HOLI with the blood of innocent people.

I don't think he should be pardoned. He is guilty of possesing weapons but I think its more to it that MONEY MADE IT DISAPPEAR. He must have involvements too otherwise why would he possesses those deadly weapons.
If a teacher teaches the whole nation about Gandhism doesn't meant he can do anything against it. Lage Raho Munna Bhai was a hit because of Ghandhism theme in it. It defeats the pupose of the movie, if he himself will walk free after found guilty of possessing those weapons.

Hmmm... if he is indeed guilty, then he should pay the price, regardless of his following or fame! I haven't been following events, so I can't really say, but if he is at fault, he should be judged accordingly!

I think if heis found guilty he needs to go to jail. Although as he feels sorry and repents it he should be released soon. Just because he is a celebrity does not give him the liberty to escape the law.

The timing is really bad given his movie is such a super hit and even planning to go to the oscars. Its not going to be sending a good message.

i am sorry but i don't agree with most of the pple here. i don't think he deserves a punishment since he has already served 18 months in jail b4. I feel terrible for his family and his father who died b4 he cud c his son getting justice. I am not supporting him becuz he is a good actor and a big celebrity but becuz morally i feel tht he has gone thru enough. And whtever he did i am sure he didn't do it intentionally, he must have been unaware of the real purpose of those weapons and as human beings we all make mistakes and so did he in recognizing the pple who appeared to b innocent frm outside. I just pray tht he gets pardoned.

I am just gonna pray for him that he comes out safe and sound. I knwo he has done things in the past ---which he has already been punished for --This allegation though is not something he should go to jail for .

i think he should be aquitted.--Let's pray that he comes out unharmed.
