i think if you calm down (not stress, worry, panic - as that wont change the situation) and ask yourself where you last left it... the answer wont come to you right away, but sometimes within the next 30 mins or 1 hour it hits you... this trick works for me... if you know which day you lost and around what time... retrace all your steps that day.. wherever you went.. check lost and found and ask employees working around..i hope you didnt lose it outside or if someone finds it they call you or place it in lost and found in that area... dont give up.. you might just get it..

Sorry to hear your situation . I can't help you with phone, but let your mom shout at you as much she wants. When her anger cools off ( with help of your sorry face 24/7 and extra ordinary good behaviour), buy another phone, not so expensive and get on with your life .

The fact that you are feeling sorry, learnt a lesson for life and regretting it is worth more than $800!!

Let me tell you one mommy's secret - When we buy expensive things for kids, we are mentally prepared that it'll be lost or broken. We want to see kids feeling sorry and responsible for losing it. If kids show no regret or learning from mistake, that's a problem . Trust me, moms are much smarter and forgiving if kids show enough remorse 😆

As someone said if you have Android Device Manager App you can trace your phone if someone starts the phone even once. Location can be traced.

Just pray that some novice has your phone. If it is some professional thief i think you should forget about your phone. They know all the tricks in the book.

I lost my iphone and i had tracking app installed but its been more than one year and my phone was never started. It happened in India where iphone is the most targeted phone by thieves. I read how these stolen iphones are shipped to Bangkok...all data is wiped out and then they are sold back in market.

Really sorry for the loss and i can understand the pain of losing a mobile as I myself have gone through it.

Did you try calling your service provider --? T-Mobile ---? Sometimes if you lose phone you contact them --- they lock the phone or can trace it & sometimes they replace your phone too --- my brother lost & his provider replaced it for free -- not sure if he was paying any insurance --- but worth a *try* --- *😃*
