Yeah that purple-golden Benarasi saree bts, where they're both standing and looking into each other's eyes. Somehow that scene doesn't seem to fit the current story unless we're seeing it near the end.

I really hope for a grand celebration too. The show hardly ever gets the recognition it deserves. I was on TT the other day and realized SP never tweeted about MHRW as much as it tweets about its other shows (in fact, I couldn't find anything they tweeted recently promoting the show).

Yes most probably they will keep all the crew together and film the episodes swiftly and end the show. I don't think they are going to have any Diwali break for the actors also. Maybe they will end the shooting somewhere between Nov 15th - Nov 20th.

I used to think the same about IPKKND back in the day. I was so naive in thinking online following = show was trp popular (altho IPKKND was popular but it wasn’t a consistently top trp runner from what I remember… the following online never matched the trp #s).

At the end of the day it’s a business. The creatives who run the show are not the ones looking at the #s and profit margins. If the audience doesn’t care to tune into a show, then there’s no point in keeping it around from a business standpoint.

Tbh itv biggest issue is that they expect trps to come in for any show before 8pm. It logically doesn’t make sense. Even if all they’re relying on are housewives - these housewives do work daily. They don’t have THAT much free time. People make dinner and come home from work between 5-7pm,don’t they? They’re literally shooting themselves in the foot if they think they’re going to make any money off of non prime time shows.

I don’t think any other major tv industry does this.

The only show that runs daily that I know of are American soap operas and they run in the day time - not in the evening. And that’s a dying industry here.

I think it is more of the PH paying money to SP to promote their shows. I know this because Gul never used to promote IPK and then she disclosed that PHs need to pay money to the channel to promote their shows. So I give it a pass because we all know Sickand does not have that much money to promote his show. I am glad that Sickand at least is giving his leads good clothes - In IPK ASR had only 2 suits, the brown one and the black one. Dang the quality of IPK went so bad towards the end that it became an eyesore. The FL had only 1 red blouse which was paired with every saree. So yes compared to that I love the sarees of Pallavi and the dresses of everyone in the cast.

Since Sickand is a small producer I do not expect that he has resources to do over the top promotion for his show.

@bold:- I totally agree with you. I love the way Sai says telugu dialogues in between and it is not the standard Ayyo Amma caricature we see on Desi TV. So I am really glad that Sickand has cast perfect actors for this project and RaghVi are what they are because of Sai-Shivangi and the whole team which really made this show so beautiful. I hope these two and the cast get more better offers - My best wishes are with them. Don't know if Sickand would want SaiShi in the Marathi remake. Let's see.

Saishi made Raghvi what they are today. Sickand didn't write Raghvi so well on paper. The actors put their soul into these characters and made them what they are. No wonder these two are so so attached to their characters.

Honestly I don't want sicku to take Saishi in the Marathi remake. I don't want to be selfish because Saishi can actually get better work in OTT or movies or south industry. Marathi tv serial will not give them any visibility.

Don’t get me started on IPKKND costume dept.

I despised Khushi’s suits. And yes ASR only had two suits. I feel like in the end Barun started to wear his own clothes 🤣. The only person who dressed nicely was Di and I heard it was because she used her own money to fund her costumes.


In MHRW at least we got decent clothes. I like PRRs sarees more than PD saree look (Except the silk/satin ones.. Loved the those). And I liked a majority of RR’s suits. Also in comparison to other shows, their outfits weren’t too OTT or inappropriate for the scenes.

I have always loved the clothes we got in Mhrw. The variety was always good. It looked idk, classy? I also liked that they showed Raghvi change into sleepwear and not sleep with their day clothes.

Even their festive looks most of the times were good and on point.

They dressed their parts for all of them except may be poor Farhad who only got 1 black suit as formals for the entire runtime.

I think it's an issue with Gul because in Geet also I really hated the costumes Geet got after marriage. Those were literal tents they made her wear net dresses were so ott.
