My experience with ITV is that last few weeks are total cost cutting days by the PH. I doubt they even think about the story lines or inconsistencies. Best example was IPK which had idiotic storylines the last 2 months - Suddenly ASR had an ex with whom he had a child and this guy had PTSD since he was 14 when he saw his parents dead bodies. I am so glad MHRW is 100 times better in terms of tadka because IPK last 2 months was horrible and cringe. We all are waiting for truth to reveal and then move on from this raita.
Oh ipk was a total cringe fest at the end. But I don’t think there were any continuity issues. ASR had trauma of his mothers death from the before the show’s last tracks. They always used to show the clip of him as a kid yelling out for his mom or something. The ex thing came out of nowhere but he was an established “player” from the beginning so it didn’t bother me that she existed. I just didn’t like how they went about dealing with it. They didn’t retcon his past to fit his ex at least.
MHRW - I don’t care that E actually exists. She had to have existed bc of R’s initial dialogues of not trusting women and not liking cheating women. I just got upset that they’re now almost trying to retcon the story to make E the root cause of Rs trauma. She already existed, she’s already here, why just for one scene did they retcon his past? Is she just lying ? Lol. How could Amma not catch that ?
When I think of continuity errors I’m talking about errors in current script that don’t align with the details of the story they already revealed or implied.
@Ren: tbh some of the ones I’m thinking of I don’t remember the names all of them anymore. 😂😂 like I can picture the show in my head but not the name 💀.
Of recent ones, SAAKK didn’t have continuity issues from what I saw (full disclosure - I didn’t even watch the drama except for clips on ig 💀💀💀) .
Of older ones… hmmm …IPKKND I don’t think had continuity issues… heck if we go really far back .. I don’t think even Kutumb s1 had actual continuity errors for the leads stories at least. I watched that one like 2-3 times as a kid. 💀💀💀💀💀💀🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. But those memories are hazy.
