Why no track of pallavi's parents - Page 2

Arre yeh kaise sawaal hai? Pallavi is someone who came straight from heaven and landed on the D-house. How could she have any past or parents? She has no emotions, no feelings. Nothing. Zilch. Why would they show when the usp of the show is Raghav, his emotions, his ex and his love storyPallavi is a just a doll who is only for romance and to be yelled upon 🤪

Thank you for saying this. In a Marathi family like the Deshmukhs, Pallavi being the daughter of Mandar's ātyā (paternal aunt) would make their marriage incestuous. Pallavi being the daughter of Mandar's māmā (maternal uncle) would be acceptable. The principle is that a bride is given by her brother's family; a gift should be given freely; and so, it's shameful for that brother to accept a bride for his son in return from the family to which his sister was given.

Incidentally, I've watched the first few episodes of Ashok Phaldesai's (Mandar) new Marathi show, Abhalachi Maya, and his character's sister is being pursued by their paternal aunt's villainous son for marriage. Only, it was mentioned that this sister was breastfed by her paternal aunt! The characters aren't Muslims, for whom the proposed marriage would be incestuous by a religious prohibition concerning breastfeeding, but I'm surprised that they don't find the proposal gross!

Pallavi is a robot, she is there to protect Deshmukhs, Baby sit Raghav, bind the Raos together and serve them, life counselor cum business advisor of Raghav, Emotional crutches and Bullet Proof of Raghav, plumber to fix every leak in Raghav’s life, latest role real estate consultant of Esha…itna sara role diya hai for a ITV lead phir bhi complaining..
In the Mandar track we got to see more of Raghav’s inner turmoils than Pallavi’s conflicts and her feelings…According to MHRV writers, Pallavi kabhi sochthi nahi hai…her action, reactions and decisions are already programmed in the chip inserted in her brain…why what when how is not there in her Bokwaas dictionary….

Pallavi took Raghav’s words too seriously..Raat khatam Baat khatam, sab bhool bhool bhool…Pichii Ammayee….deserves every bit of what she is getting…

Here's what I learned from the two birth certificates on screen:

• Siddhesh's birthday is April 4, 1986.
• Dilip and Seema Sawant are Siddhesh's parents.
• Pallavi's birthday is May 20, 1996. So, she turned 25 on the day she left Raghav to go to Kolhapur. Raghav met Sunny that day.
• Both parents are blank on Pallavi's birth certificate.

From an internet search, I learned this about birth certificates in India:

• If Dilip and Seema Sawant had legally adopted Pallavi, their names would have been entered on her birth certificate, just as if they were her birth parents.
• Pallavi's adoption would have required written consent from Siddhesh (age 5+).
• The birth certificate is different from the birth reporting form, which Sunny hasn't seen.
• In case of adoption of a child of unknown birth parents, the birth reporting form will have blanks for the birth parents, but the adoptive parents' names will appear elsewhere on the birth reporting form, and on the birth certificate.

Why would the birth certificate have blanks for both of Pallavi's parents? Maybe if a child of unknown birth parents doesn't get adopted, the birth certificate is issued without parents' names?

For example, if Dilip and Seema Sawant found Pallavi on the temple steps, and they died in a car accident (suspected mob hit) before they could adopt her, she has no legal parents.

Or, Dilip and Seema Sawant became pregnant through in vitro fertilization using donor sperm and donor egg, and the clinic failed to secure the donors' legal surrender of parental rights ... nah.

Did Siddhesh and Pallavi grow up in a relative's home, or in an orphanage? Was Siddhesh ever the legal guardian of Pallavi?

If Pallavi is Krishna Rao's daughter, she'll have the same family name as Raghav. Could their marriage be sagotra?

By the way, in one of my fan fictions, Raghav realizes what happened on Pallavi's birthday.

you know I have a vague idea why this is not explored further… as show was in danger zone.. and already shifted to 5:30 slot which is the way star plus faze out its shows.. giving them sometime to wrap up their stories… may be they wanted first esha to be introduced as a vamp .. and see audience’s reaction since third angle is the norm right now in ITV… now they could have gone two ways (I don’t think they can now but fir b)

1. Esha already wants to get rid of pallavi.. Sunny is supporting her just the way he supported mandar.. so now he may help her out by finding pallavi’s past and esha could literally use that information to create further rift between them post whatever their ine night stand fiasco is revealed or sorted out… but that’s a loooong way to go.. and I don’t think writers have that much time..

2. Esha track will wrap up first and post that Sunny will be pissed and find out more about Pallavi… and then that track will start… which is again a loong shot as of now…

so in short … I don’t think they have in mind to pick this track … unless show survives long enough for then to introduce this…

Pallavi don't matter until unless it's to lift up the other party.
