Pallavi's birth certificate has blanks for both parents, meaning that she was not legally adopted by Dilip and Seema Sawant, nor is she legally recognized as born to them. A person can have as many as three birth parents: a sperm donor, an egg donor, and a gestational carrier. So, please vote for no more than one male and two females.

I left out Jaya Rao and Ajit Rao because nobody wants Pallavi to be Raghav's sister, right? Feel free to reply with more candidates.

Aakhir kab tak we will say that we should not expect logic from dramas

True she has no idea her birth certificate parents name is missing

I think she should know about it

Like has she never looked at it or did Siddhesh Dada give her fake

Birth certificate you get from the municipality where you produce the hospital records

If she was born at home or in a car the mid wife also gives some evidence mid wife bame is written on the ceetificate

How was her birth even registered

Exactly my point. Birth certificate can still be issued widout Father's name ( as ruled by supreme court for single mothers) but how come der is no mother's name either ???

This poll got more votes than my previous polls. Thank you to everyone who voted and replied so far.

The first vote cast was for Sulochana - that would really shake up how Sulochana views Pallavi. However, Sharada is well ahead of Sulochana now - in what situation might Sharada have been robbed of a baby between Mandar and Nikhil? Out of the four female candidates who appeared in one scene each, only the lady who saw remorse in Raghav's eyes got one vote. Her return could be interesting - she thought of Raghav as a friend, not a charitable donor, and her son would be Pallavi's brother.

Milind was in the lead to be Pallavi's father at first - it would be funny that Raghav's father-in-law is so informal with him. Now, Krishna Rao is in first place - we don't really know this character except that he stole some money. Ten years later, he could be a criminal mastermind or a destitute man afflicted with leprosy, or he could have repented and turned to philanthropy or spiritual leadership. So many possibilities. Ved's father, Raghav's "Pillai Uncle" is in a strong third place - do those who voted for him have ideas for a story?

Ruhi.007 or anybody else, if you would introduce new characters as Pallavi's birth parents, what would they be like? Rich, poor, ethical, criminal ... ?

Sunny's parents would be ideal candidate.

I like the idea of Krishna Rao and Sharada Deshmukh (before she became a Deshmukh).

But will that not make Mandar Pallavi's half brother? 😆

You like the idea of Sharada giving birth to Pallavi before marriage? Then Mandar, who is almost four years older than Pallavi, couldn't be Vijay and Sharada's son from their marriage. He might be Vijay's son and Sharada's stepson. So, no matter how far Pallavi and Mandar went with their premarital video chats, they would be step-siblings, not half-siblings. Has there ever been a situation like that on Indian TV? Would it be prohibitively incestuous?

On Jiv Jhala Yeda Pisa (a Marathi daily drama), the male lead (played by Ashok Phaldesai - Mandar) regarded a politician as his mother-deity, and she addressed the female lead as "sƫna-bāī" (daughter-in-law) and demanded to be called "thoralyā sāsƫ-bāī" (elder mother-in-law). Later, it was revealed that the politician had been a tamasha dancer and had given birth to the female lead. (She went into labour while dancing on stage - probably inspired by the real life of Vitha Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar.) The situation was not portrayed as incestuous.

Why do you think so?

Sunny isn't close to his parents, so even if Raghav had to maintain a relationship with them, he wouldn't have to accept Sunny. Sunny and Pallavi don't really interact either.

What story would you tell?
