I'm sure she did - any normal person would have that emotional connection. But eventually that emotional connection goes away - it wasn't love. And the show downplayed it so much (so much emphasis on her not having real feelings for Mandar, not knowing even how to be sad about his death, etc) - it was hard for me to give it any importance in that way. But I get what you're saying.

@bold : agreed. I so wish they had shown the scene where they get the news of Mandaar's death. Would have loved to see Shivangi ace that emotional scene beautifully like the Queen she is. And maybe then majority of the fandom would have been able to connect with the plot and those feelings wouldn't have felt out of place.

omg those scenes would have been GREAT.

I know what P must have went thru bc I've been in a similar boat (no death but other reasons for separation) - and to still not be in love with someone, but have your future dreams snatched away from you in an instant - it's not easy to live with. It takes time to get over. I so wish they would've shown all of that. The first week of MHRW should have been P's backstory and all these scenes. You feel a sense of loss, mourning for what could have been. It's like yeah, you never loved that person - so that heartbreak is not there - but it's a different type of heartbreak. Shivi would've done an amazing job.

I can understand and hence i think my opinions to the entire plot had been different. My mom went through a similar thing and it took both me and her into a dark pitt of life. Pallavi was still young when she lost the hope of living because no matter how much everyone around you portray that it's fine to get remarried or live your life, it's not. The same society won't let you. But then she found Raghav and fell in love with him. Things had finally been setting out when the person she had dreamt of living a life initially came back knocking on her door. A guy who's family had taken her inn when the society had asked them to throw her out ( cue to the loom pooja episode ).

No matter how much at times i tell her, but my mom too will never leave my paternal house because these people stood by her and are her family now. And ofcourse mine by blood.

We know how severely the character was bashed for having done nothing. She would be judged, victim blamed and what not. Divorce demands were all time high. Those of assault too.

Nobody’s asking for a divorce now? 😂

I am just saying how biased this behaviour is. I hope you got my point.

I will not judge Ragahv on these things. Never. Just like I won’t judge Pallavi too, ever. But , you know what I mean.

Agreed Parul. They are not to be judged just because they have a past.

But even my slight annoyance is towards the biasness that people take it with. I mean why so shant now just because it is your hot ML remembering his first love, and let me just add it here that for freak sake Raghav had girls toying around him even before Pallavi walked into his life. First epsode, that girl sitting rigt by his side wasn't there to give him some at a distance vocal therapy. But it's his past. he has been loyal to Pallavi after that. Hasn't he? Similarly Pallavi has been loyal to Raghav even when Mandaar walked in.

She proudly declared and shut people up during Satyanarayan wali pooja. Then that women was freakin drugged but still she was calling out for her husband who by the way was running around the same sister who helped drugging his wife and then signing divorce papers. None of them can ever be blamed for their past and never be questioned of the loyalty they portray each other.

But the biasness i can't take it. I am not asking anyone to bash him. I AM NOT. But if you've criticized Pallavi for her feelings then you should have the guts to either do the same to Raghav or hear people's opinions on him. Character Chriticization as a few people name it as.

Yeah our individual life experiences definitely do shape how we view this show - any show or content for that matter.

I'm so sorry to hear that - but I'm glad you and your mom found that wonderful support system. ❤️ My cousin also experienced that same/similar loss - she never remarried and remained as close, if not closer, to her in laws / her kids paternal family because of how much love and support they showered over her. It's easier said than done to move on from that.

Didn’t she have a right to make an informed decision? And what the hell are his ex’s things doing in their room? Pallavi doesn’t deserve to be hurt like this. Nobody does.

I know it’s only a show and we can’t really expect much from itv, but all these things are valid. I am just surprised how nobody will say it because it’s Ragahv doing it and oh, he’s a moorat of perfection.

we will appreciate anything he does. And draw supreme comparisons aggrandising him😌😌

I feel bad for Raghav , Pallavi is just a doll , please we don’t talk about her feelings , cause they don’t exist .
