At least the feelings after watching a dead EX-HUSBAND made sense.
For me it was because she wasn't in love with M that her reactions (to the ring, etc) seemed a bit extra for someone who died years ago that she didn't carry any real feelings for. I think that's why it's a bit hard to compare these two situations. Sometimes I wish they had shown P in love with M -wouldn't it have added even more gravitas to the story? - but nope, FL always has to be the "pure" "untainted by love" "virgin" one. smh. the inequality.
I get your & Parul's (she mentioned something similar earlier in the thread too) points. General FD outrage over what FL does is so exponentially worse than any reaction to what the ML does. 'Tis the patriarchial society we live in that lets "us" (the general us, not you and me lol) excuse men far more than we excuse our fellow women unfortunately. That whole "boys will be boys" mentality is so deeply ingrained that many don't even realize how much they excuse a guy who is "handsome" and "rich" etc etc. smh.

umm no? Her husband died mysteriously - she lives with his family and then she finds a ring two years later at most unexpected place. You have to remember that Pallavi never got a closure. She suffered for those 2-2.5 years probably replaying the events in her head again and again. Just because she wasn’t in love, doesn’t mean she can’t have tears in her eyes. She was in pain too.
And thank you for saying what you said later ❤️🤗

Totally agreed Fria but trust me on this one. I am glad that they didn't show Pallavi in love with Mandaar or she'll be shamed in a way that none of a decent human specially a women would have been able to take it because the story might have taken a dirty turn.
People would have used words such as "two timing", " Having fun" And what not to her name. And whatever emotions that were actually shown are because she had a courtship period of 3 months with a man she was getting married to and i think alot of us can agree on that, even we as individuals. We haven't met each other and have just bonded over a few months and we feel greatly connected to each other, at least i do. And it's just friendship between us but there that women was going to spend her rest of the life with that man. Imagine the kind of emotional connect she must have made with him.

Sama you are saying as if she wasn’t called these names still. There was victim blaming, s**t shaming, there were tracks suggested where she gets assaulted so that she ‘learns’ a lesson. All boundaries were crossed and I still see few comments.
I carry a very different world view now after coming on IF. Is it the anonymity which makes people comfortable with making such comments and others posting 😂 reactions on them?

oh i never meant she couldn't have tears or anything. So I get what you're saying. I get that she never had closure and this Mandar thing was such a burden on her - she felt the brunt of his death without even having lived a life with him. It was just 1-2 scenes where I was like "hmm thats seems like a bit much" bc it seemed like the kind of panic that one would have for their dead lover. But that's just how I vibed with those few scenes. Her overall drive and need to solve his case, get to the bottom of it, etc., that I completely understood & prob understood better than those scenes I kind of questioned.
🤗
Either way, FD reaction to her was bad and uncalled for. And yeah, we'll never see the tables turned now that it's R's ex. SMH, the inequality. It's in the writing. It's in the FD reactions. I just can't.

You're telling me what?? Parul oh my god how low can someone go specially a women to tear another women down.
Should i be shocked if they do a similar thing to Raghav just because his ex first love is here. Oh common can't someone have a past in their life.
On Pallavi's shaming, for heaven sake that women was married. What if Mandaar hadn't died on the same night? What if they both had a successful marriage for 2-3 months?? Would she have been killed to have a past life. A life before Raghav. A life that she cannot feel about but now just because Raghav has one, he can.
Oh the hypocrisy around here.
All hail the mentality.

@bold: i don't even expect it anymore Fria. Non point banding our head on dead hollow walls. Thick skulls don't grasp understanding and knowledge.
Also a hot ML >>>>>>>> a bold not so bechaari like other itv bahu FL
Deal was if raghav's reports show a problem he will stop drinking
She's given him a reason to drink even more

@bold: Sigh. You're right about that. Can't win with these people. Damned if you do, damned if you don't when it comes to Pallavi, esp with the M track.
I'm sure she did - any normal person would have that emotional connection. But eventually that emotional connection goes away - it wasn't love. And the show downplayed it so much (so much emphasis on her not having real feelings for Mandar, not knowing even how to be sad about his death, etc) - it was hard for me to give it any importance in that way. But I get what you're saying.
