Request to stop the beating parade

Hello again....

Makers can you please stop this beating parade on Raghav..

Pallavi got to know it's Raghav, she expressed her anger, her fears and pour out all her frustration..

It was good, and Raghav realised how his silly games were costing on her already stressed mind..

She gave him much needed rebuke of how she was feeling, so scared and so dejected, made him realise that there is a time for jokes and it's not the right time...

All good ...

But that beating with a stick was unnecessary..

I know it was added to make it funny ..

But it isn't cool, even if it's funny..

Lets not talk about how domestic violence against men goes unnoticed and even mocked.... how many men have committed suicides coz of this..

There are other ways to show your frustrations, her dialogues and expressions were so on point and enough to show her frustration..

First it was unnecessary slap fest, thankfully it is stopped..

Now this beating, I hope it will not be repeated...

It was misplaced and gave an idea that you can pour your frustration through beating .... ( Kabir Singh 🙂)

And Raghav almost raised his hand on her ( pyar se hi sahi) what if he would have done it?

Which reminds me where is the sorry to Farhad 🤨

Pall has gone through so much, I expected a scene where she pours her heart to aayi and have a long chat with Raghav ...

But how did I forget that Keerti was normal within days after that MMS scandal...

Please don't make violence as comedy...

Am all for action- let Raghav beat the hell out of Mandar and Sunny..

Let Pall beat Mandar ( I hope we get to see this)

But not on Raghav and Farhad

I agree. It’s not funny. This show always had a weird idea of what’s funny.

Sulo ogling at Swapnil is not funny.

Beating is not funny, just because it’s the husband on the receiving end.

Gender reversal in both these scenarios, and it wouldn’t sell for funny at all. Why should the rules be different for men and women.

And apart from this, slapfest is not acceptable at all. Why does itv go with slapping like it’s a routine thing to do and nobody has a problem with it?

These people have normalised violence too much on the show 😒

Everyone slapping the other , forcing them , stopping them and now in order to show light moments you write this - it's sending such a wrong message across!

Men and women alike - violence in any relationship (Husband wife , siblings or parent kid - telling them bcus they have shown all these slaps onscreen )cannot be justified .

They need to stop this. Imagine if this was gender reversal? The reaction would have been different!

Pallavi beating raghav with that stick was not funny at all. And infact raghav raised his hands and later immediately hugged her.

They need to stop raising hands/beating/hitting.

This show has normalized violence.. And I feel very uncomfortable while watching .

And moreover they opened harassment issue in last night episode and entirely forgot to address it in tonight's episode. These are sensitive topics. If they can't handle it properly they should not show it at first place.

Sandip needs to look into these issues.!

Can I add that the choking scene wasn’t funny at all? Because, for the starters, it’s an extremely scary life-threatening situation?


Sorry, I just had to say this 🤣 I know many people did find it hilarious, but I was cringing literally.

I moved on , because it’s just a show and if it’s funny to them, so I am alright. If jhadu pitai and today’s episode is funny to Raghav, I can move on from this as well.

But when it comes to real life implications- all these scenes are not funny.

Your post got me thinking what if it was the other way around. What if Raghav beat Pallavi with a broom and now a stick? What if Pallavi was ogled on by an older relative?

It would become suicidal for the show. I don't need to spell out what all would be said and done.

Milind slapped Sulo. Sulo slapped Amruta.
Raghav slapped Farhad.

And then next day they are behaving as if it never happened.

All this is not okay. You don’t go around slapping people like this, irl.

But then, it’s acceptable in their world! All I can say is, let’s not derive inspiration from itv.
