Aur waise bhi they are actors. Reel acting itne achchhe se karte hain aur real mein toh thoda kar hi sakte hain. Honestly, something's do look as if they could be made up. For example, let's take two instances... Shivi ka achanak itne saalon baad Twitter active pe active hona and Shivi sharing stories without mentioning anyone.

I think Shivangi's return to Twitter is definitely a PR stunt either by a PR professional or simply by Sai. His social media game is insanely strong so my theory is that he advised her to up her social media game if she wants to stay in the race. I remember in one of their initial interviews she even said that about him, that he's great with social media and that she needs to learn from him. Uss time pe the interview was certainly not scripted, there was a very fresh and innocent feel to it.

Chalo maanlia ki ice-cream wala story bhi was scripted, but I doubt if the salon thing was scripted as well.

I actually think the salon was an outright PR stunt, not the ice cream incident. Salon has to be scripted yaar, what's to say they're both going to the same "Ok Beauty Clinic" by choice. Shivangi's hair hardly looks any different, Sai's cut looks messy and uneven. I doubt this was a salon of their choosing, this was probably what the production afforded them so they can promote the show. Also, bearing in mind that they all live together and perhaps have limited salon options in their area, wouldn't all the girls go to the salon together instead of Sai and Shivangi?! I'd assume Shivangi would go for a hair spa with Priyanka and Rutuja (Amrutha & Mansi, I think I misspelt their names) instead of with Sai.

Another thing to be noted, in comparison to the amount of promotion other shows' leads do, SaiShi kuch bhi nahi karte. No funny videos, boomerangs, reels...nothing! Unnke Insta accounts pe sirf khudke photos hain. Jo photo dia bhi hain vo RaghVi ka hain. Shivi has a separate post with Himanshu but not with the actor who is casted opposite her! Kisi ek ne bhi agar eksath ek photo dal de toh lagta hain suraj ulti disha pe utha hain. Inn sabse genuinely lagta hain ki dono bohot reserved aur private log hain.

100%! They're reserved and I actually like that about them! The overdose of reels and TikToks that the leads in other shows do is overwhelming. Bohat chummy chummy gets really stale, really fast! I think both Sai and Shivangi maintain their instas as their e-portfolios to an extent, which makes sense in today's time. Yeh over kism ki dostiyan aage jaake bohat bhaari parhti hain in the industry. It also takes away from the credibility of their work, I feel. Sai's intensity, Shivangi's expressiveness, their coordination in scenes, it all takes plenty of focus and rehearsals. Jo lead pairs reels bana rahe hain unki on-screen chemistry chemistry kehne ke laiik bhi nai hai.

My point is agar SaiShi se PR stunts karwane hain toh aise wale karwane chahiye. Fans pagal hojayenge. PR ke peechhe itna paisa lagake aise social media pe stealth PDA kyun karwa rahe hain SaiShi se?

I agree! Aur bohat behtar PR stunts hain that have been tried, tested, and proven successful. The stealth means there's a bit of natural chemistry there and it's not ALL scripted. Take Jay's BTS content for example. Their chemistry, despite the muted videos, is SO, SO, SO evident! Instagram ke liye pehle se planning kar sakte hain - perhaps she texted him that she'll be bombarding his live or he texted her that he'll be leaving such and such comment on her pictures, but I don't think BTS mein they have room to plan their interactions.

Side note: I read your OS every day (it just gives me the perfect warm and fuzzies in the morning), just haven't had the chance to leave a proper dil se likha hua comment. Don't want you thinking yahan bak bak kar rahi hoon aur wahan chup hoon. 🤗

All their BTS and interactions come across as true. I agree with the salon being promotional but every other thing - icecream, her bombarding his live n interview it felt too spontaneous. You can literally make out from Sai's expression how happy he got coz he didn't expect it.

I also agree on them being so dedicated about the craft that they don't have time for reels. I want them to focus on their acting coz they will get more work in future due to this not because of reels they make.
