Yes she did and keerti closed the door on Pallavi. Keerti ofcourse did it out of hate for Pallavi not love for raghav but amma did it out of love for her son. She didnt want to see him hurt any more

The way he was acknowledging that he swallowed his pain and still came to pick her up and fulfill his duty even after everything that happened, it hurt seeing him like that.

Not sure it will happen with Pallavi. I don't think she's done anything wrong enough to need a redemption arc but she needs to own up to her mistakes of late.

I APPLAUD the makers for creating this parallel, it was a very POWERFUL scene

Indeed, it was a great parallel and the physical blockades of doors and windows created a strong visual impact as well.

Screenplay was top-notch today, lots of symbolism in the episode. I loved it!

Pyaar ka dushman zamaana and all that!

I will say though I hate to see the proud RR, business tycoon being reduced to this for those useless Ds.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. Yes he did kill it. I was skeptical about the drunk scene but he knocked it out of the park.

I agree but I don’t think he was reduced for the deshmukhs

It’s for Pallavi

He can show the deshmukhs his strong form whenever he wants and he will now once they patch up

They keep on hurting pallavi and now VD is taking it too far, his plan is to clearly keep her with Mandar

In fact I am getting some sly RR vibes from that bandit king type pics

Pallavi had to be shown the mirror, she had to be told that what she was doing was not ok. I'm glad Raghav kind of overtook her when she was trying to explain herself, sometimes it's not about what we intended, but its about how others perceive us/our actions. I may not have intended to hurt someone, but at the end of the day all that matters is someone still got hurt by something I did. And that's what Pallavi I think realized today. I'm glad Raghav was able to let out all of what he was feeling - when he was sober and drunk.

I'm not too worried about him calling Pallavi a cheater. It wasn't about marital cheating with Mandar at all - I think it was more about how she promised to love him, make him her priority, and yet failed in his eyes.

VD needs to go to jail for kidnapping. He's legit trapping Pallavi in his home when he has no rights to do so. Someone call the cops. Pallavi still has her phone, I hope she calls Farhad - the only one from RR that will pick up her call - and explain everything to him.

Also, I actually don't need a long redemption for Pallavi. I just want her to recognize what she did wrong here, the missteps she took and apologize for it. I just don't want them to gloss it over. But she doesn't need to go through some month long redemption arc like Raghav lol. IMO at least.

She hasn't done something so bad that she needs a redemption arc, but like you I don't want it to be glossed over. She needs to own up and make amends, then work on a solution with Raghav. Otherwise this will fester and there will be further misunderstandings between them as third parties try to drive a wedge.

Yes, I also like that for once he spoke about his perspective and his family's, that he pointed out indirectly that while they may not have made any demands on her as the DIL, she did have some responsibilities towards them. And that too he brought it up only because he sees her going overboard in her responsibilities towards the Ds and talking about her duties all the time. More than anything, it was the point that she didn't even think of him/them in all that or try to even contact any of the Raos. I can bet you if she had told Raghav she was stuck and needed help, he would have done whatever he could to help and would have even left the event to be by her side.

You know what's actually bothering Raghav? Not just that she doesn't prioritize him when it's most needed but also because she doesn't seem to need him the way he does. When she's in trouble she doesn't think to call her husband, the man she loves, he isn't her go to person. This is what he perceives, and as you said despite the good intentions the actual outcome is what lingers.

He felt betrayed by her not living up to her promises, at least in his eyes. He wasn't accusing her of cheating or being disloyal in any other sense.

One more thing... somewhere at the back of his mind, he knows that Pallavi was forced to marry him. He wasn't her choice, whereas Mandaar was. Sure, she's moved on but Raghav must wonder subconsciously if that gives Mandaar leverage he could never have. This is another reason that he doesn't force Pallavi to do anything anymore.

I still don't get why she didn't get in the car with him or follow him home.

Maybe she'll take Farhad's bike that's parked outside.

I don't mean directly because of them. I mean because of the situation they created and then because Pallavi fell into that trap too and didn't realize where she was going wrong.

Episodes and dialogues like today's show that the writers do indeed have a finger on the audience's pulse. Which tells me they know exactly what they are doing and all this is deliberate.
