The way you were able to capture these moments between them, his gradual changes mirroring the changes in the weather, the magical world in which only they existed - it was lovely and poetic. 👏
How she supports and shields him, and how he thrills and protects her and how they face the storm together - what a beautiful metaphor Thank you for this!
Thank you so much❤
there is silence between them--but a thousand emotions exchanged

This is so beautiful 😍 Sometimes silence is the best way to communicate what the heart wants to say and this OS is the perfect example of that. You could feel the warmth while reading this OS ☺️
Thanks for sharing this!
Thank you so much❤
a lot is spoken with the unspoken words
This was so beautiful
I could feel myself immersed in it--like a trance
this title is really good...better than the shining sun
Thank you so much Lisa❤❤
This was so, so, SO well written! 👏
I'm a sucker for dialogue-baazi, especially between RaghVi, but this time I truly enjoyed the imagery and the wordless communication between them! I could visualize the entire story - not just their surroundings and the baarish or the umbrella, but their expressions, their hand movements, their glimpses and nods... so, so dreamy!
Pallavi truly is the light of his life and despite all his darkness, she manages to find her light in him as well. I love how you picked on that aspect of RaghVi and elaborated it. I LOVE how Pallavi lets Raghav brood when he needs to and literally glows (yes, I am indeed still swooning at how Raghav said she's glowing) when he gives her attention. Anyone else might take a minute or two to throw attitude back at their broody husband, but not Pallavi. She simply knows how to give light and love.
The way Raghav took the umbrella from her and stood up with it - that scene spoke volumes to me! It was such a Raghav thing to do. It's almost as if he sprung up... as if he got his rain and sunlight and then like a flower, he "bloomed". (No no, Raghav isn't a phool, bas... that scene just tugged at me. ❤️)
Can't wait to read what you write next!
I am really happy that this style of writing even being a little different from your usual reads--you gave it a shot and you being able to imagine the whole scenario makes me joyous.
Pallavi is quite patient when it comes to Raghav--know he needs time and the space and understanding between them speaks a lot about them. I am glad you loved the line when Raghav says Pallavi is glowing.
It's the sudden realization that the person beside him will be with him forever--through his darkness and through his light phase. He bloomed under Pallavi's love and care..
I am so glad you loved it❤
Thank you so much❤

Wow, Reem! you write so damn well...i can picture this happen between SaiShi, if i can say so... just like in the show, Pallavi will always be attracted to him no matter what, and i don't mean the physical one. He is like the trouble/chaos she wants in her life. She wants to be his calm as he is hers.
The whole mention of sunshine reminded me of two songs, both classics, Ain't no sunshine when is gone away by Bill Withers, and My girl by Temptations, specially this opening of My girl:
I've got sunshine on a cloudy day
When it's cold outside
I've got the month of May
I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way
My girl, my girl, my girl
Talking 'bout my girl
My girl
I wish i could articulate is as good as you have, but totally love this kind of writing. I hope you also write some other stories, if yes please do share.
Thank you for sharing! 🤗
I listened to those songs--both are lovely classis.
and the lyrics you have posted here aptly describes Raghav's feelings.
Yes I will pm you if I write anything further. As of now..I have exams coming.
Thank you so much Neha❤
Glad that you liked it❤

I enjoyed reading this a lot! Thanks for the PM!
At first, I thought of Raghav as a stranger to Pallavi but then as she moved closer to him without any apprehensions, I was sure she knows him and then when he smiles at her, I was sure these two are infact married because she also imagines a small world just with Raghav, and in the entire write up, his name was not mentioned before.
I’ve loved how you paced this from curiosity to realization of love by two people in the most natural circumstances! I was also curious as to why he was sitting there alone, as if no one cared about him but then I figured it must be him guilt tripping, assuming that no one wants to be with him but there’s one person who looks above and beyond his experience and fills in his void heart.
I love reading such pieces!
As for the title - how about “Strumming in silence” because I feel that without saying anything, they got over the storm of their lives (the rain was an indication of this), and the unspoken love was strummed in silence, eventually easing out into bouts of laughter, and then, something shifted between them, was it love?
Edited: I just saw this already has a title now, my bad 😎
I really loved your title so kept it as the OS title--Shining Sun was something random I had chosen since I had no idea what could be the title.
Raghav overcomes himself and looks forward because of Pallavi.
I am glad you enjoyed read it.
Thanks a lot Kiara❤

WOAH Reem!!! This was unimaginably Beautiful!!! Matlab actually Imaginably hi👏👏
I don't have words to describe the imagery that you created here with the sun & rain for both Raghav & Pallavi. The umbrella being first alone with Pallavi & then she takes Raghav under the same cocoon encompasses a surreal feeling
Sorry, I couldn't respond earlier....I wanted to give the OS proper time to read & finally found it today😔
The transitions from the heavy downpour to them going home amongst the peekaboo of the sun, I loved every bit of this amazing piece❤️ . I am bookmarking to read this amongst one of my slow days amidst the Mumbai rains
Please share the secrets of how you come up with such content with me too😛!!
The conclusions and symbolism you guys have drawn out here is something which I never thought while writing--and I was quite surprised myself when you guys mentioned it.
You might not have found it because I change the name of the OS
A lovely journey starting in the rain and ending in sunrays--is what our RaghVi show.
Thank you so much Sonia--that's an honour for me
To be frank I dont know myself too--just was missing rain in Delhi--rain seems to be eluding here.
I am glad that you loved this OS❤
Thank you dear 🤗 I saw you changed the title ❤️
I read the story a second time! It sits so well esp when there’s silence around us and the weather is chilling! There’s a certain melancholy about it in the beginning and then it gets happier 😊
