Since the beginning of the show, characters have changed a lot, including the leads, and the change in their character arcs wasn't exactly smooth in most cases. The changes in Deshmukh house are so drastic as compared to before the scandal and marriage fisaco and so are the changes in Raghav and Pallavi. Sometimes the change is not so easy on mind, and you have to gulp it down with yeah-yeah-ITV-drama logic. šBut there is one character who is crisp and authentic from the beginning and I love how CVs have kept him that way. That is Farhad. šš
He is loyal, manages thing in a very calm professional way for Anna like a typical right hand would do, has his own mind too, but he has never crossed his character boundaries.. One word for him would be crisp. Maybe this is because he is not family and his equation is with Anna and no one else. But I like how they haven't complicated his character arc unlike others say Mansi or Vijay or Sharda Deshmukh. He isn't complicated, but he isn't monotonous either. His disagreements with Anna are visible, but they aren't dramatic. I got an inkling that he is slightly pissed off at Pallavi and Deshmukh jaap of Anna. š¤£š¤£
It's so natural and cute but he isn't voicing it out. On one hand, he was happily telling Pallavi about Anna being Pallavi-centric these days, it sort of felt like he was trying to tell Pallu to consider his Anna's efforts because he is going out of his way... On the other hand, he was reminding Anna that he could be on the losing side ki woh family toh aapko waise bhi pasand nahin karti..
And then when Anna was going behind Pallavi after having a little tiff, he sort of was like where are you going, and Raghav glared at him, like, what?? That was cute too.
All of these are subtle as well as interesting and never make you frown unlike the rest of the characters including leads. Their behavior and dialogues have been uncharacteristic and too dramatic many times, but not this character.
This is a Farhad as a character appreciation post and nothing else. š And I hope his character stays rational like this, devoid of any faltu drama.
