I liked yesterday's and today's episode, Megha was subtle while giving fitting replies to her in laws and mohallawasis . That's how she should be. Situations around you may make you weak initially but if you decide to fight it out, you emerge into a strong personality. Hopefully Meghas character stays this when she is in Georgia ahead. How will she deal with Manoj and how will Manoj tackle her has to be seen. With Arjun tagging along ( needs to see how) the story should take a positive impact.

I wish she doesn't become weak when she comes face to face with her good for nothing fraudster Manoj ji and he doesn't be successful in manipulating her with his sugar coated words. I wish she doesn't give him a chance to defend himself and gives him 2 - 3 slaps in front of everyone. I wish my wish is fulfilled.

I am actually surprised they are his real parents. I thought they would be hired actors by Manoj... Probably his real family is elsewhere -- that was my initial thoughts with the drama.

I too thought the same but they're his real parents. Anyway, these trio should be severely punished and I hope the makers bring out the truth about Gurpreet being Manoj and him marrying Jassi.

Regarding his biological parents I feel maybe later the makers might show that these people are his bhare ka tattu and his real parents don't know his whereabouts and what he's upto. The makers can do anything to get TRPs.

I thought Manoj would turn out to be Gurmeet but jassi's brother and family members came and took her away when she was calling Manoj as Gurmeet. They would have said the same thing if he was actually jassi's Gurmeet. They just took her away which proved she was delusional.

I thought his parents were rented too.. was surprised when they actually turned out his parents

I would also like megha to strongly give it back to Manoj and not fall for his antics when she meets him.

Exactly, thank you for reminding me.. I forgot why I disliked this character.. who discloses financial information in front of perfect strangers and his demand of not spending anything for his daughter's wedding was wierd.. I mean what is the harm in feeding the guests by spending a little? His rant in the initial episodes was too much. He has saved a lot but not willing to spend but now,, if he thought those conditions were a measure of the opposite side's ill intentions, Manoj and his family proved him wrong in a jiffy.

I do understand his pov as a father who was scared for his daughter's future but he is irritating at times. When he came to know of Manoj's fraud, he rushed to his parents house and the drama there was ott in my opinion. What did he expect? That they would let him talk to Manoj? And what did he expect from talking to Manoj anyway? Because Manoj spoke to the entire family on video later and he did not utter a word. What was the need for all the ott shouting at his parents house?

I would have liked to see him internalise the anger and attack the family legally with the help of his wife and Arjun. His resolve to put pressure on the parents and bring Manoj back to India where he would be punished by law would have made for good drama. He was also rude towards Arjun who is helping his daughter and their family. He is too emotional which makes him come off as weak, imo.

I liked it when he suggested she go to Delhi and do her degree and move on in her life.. he also said she should wait till Diwali and then confirm herself. His point about all of them confronting Manoj together in India also makes sense..he is thinking straight that way. I like this version of the dad.

I haven't watched that episode. But, I watched a clip where she called him Gurmeet. Did her parents see him? If so, she must have misunderstood him as Gurmeet. I feel this must be a gang as Arjun had mentioned once. And, I think Rajveer also might be a part of this gang.

Han han! Jassi's family was invited to magha's wedding and they did not recognise him to be Gurmeet. Also, Manoj parents are right there in Amritsar, so it couldn't be him. It seems like this is the first time Manoj scammed a family.. at least in Amritsar. Let's see if it's a gang, rajveer must be heading it with 13 scams under his belt

I feel like the drama is a bit too sachrine sweet for me at times that I find it grating. Take for example, the dad.

When it comes to business, he has not made any money. So in other families, they would have given him the tag of loser. The mom would be hardened and frustrated by having to pay off all his debts. Goldy aunty would be chewing him out even more. Son would blame him for not being able to start a business. Megha herself would be bitter.

Instead, what do we have? Everything acting like papaji is the most awesome man that ever lived. Mom has no problem that he never made any money and she was the only earning member.

If they had given a more realistic type family, then the dad's hoarding of 25 lakhs for Megha and refusing to celebrate it with any guests would make a lot of sense. They should have shown how he is desperate to ensure that he still has honour and has not lost all money and has some inheritance to give. They should have shown that he was suspicious but his lack of business success meant that no one took his concerns about the alliance seriously.

Basically because the makers wanted this overly sweet filmy family where dad is the boss, the dad's characterization just comes across as weird. Actually that can be applied to Megha and her entire family -- none of them feel well-rounded in some ways.

Agree! correct me if I am wrong, but the money saved for megha is her Grandmother's savings, not the father's

And yes, that is why I find the mother's characterization funny and silly.. when the man of the house continuously fails in his business endeavors, we expect the mom to take on the baton of being the stronger voice of the house.. and she is a thanedarni! She should have been more assertive but here she is very submissive to her husband.. It was laughable for me when Manoj scared her off from his neighborhood when she came to background check on him.. you are a police women for god's sake! Imo, it shows police in a meek light.. as if they can be scared off easily by any one.

Can understand where megha gets that extra sweetness with her Manoj ji. Entire family is weird for me

Megha openly spoke in the mohalla about being physically and mentally abused and intimidated by her in-laws.. but I am surprised even her mother did not question about her well-being
