Lol, I had the same ditto opinion on the Amritsari fish with hollandaise sauce. It's simply a veg replacement. 😂 Plating was just too off to be frank, presentation wise. Maybe I thought because the fish might've been translated into different ways depending on the spice usage, she wanted to perhaps retain original taste of the dish but just switch the vegetable used in the salad.Originally posted by: Raina101

Kamaldeep - she chose to make Amritsari machchi, with a chayote squash salad and hollaindaise flavoured with basil. She made an everyday dish, where was the innovation? She just paired it with something different.
A squash used as salad wasn’t anything new either. Maybe it tasted great, but it wasn’t a dish good enough dish to win the immunity pin.
Aruna - she stuffed kalakand made with paneer in poached chayote squash. She didn’t even know how to poach, needed help from those in the balcony. Again her dish wasn’t an innovation. First we’ve seen kalakand for the third consecutive challenge, secondly stuffed kalakand is nothing new.
Regarding Aruna, when she asked for help from the balcony from Sachin, like it was stupid. Asking for opinion on something never done before was made her a rookie, IMO.

This wasn't a chef decision. The voice didn't sound like Ranveer either. Honestly I'm not surprised. My one concern when the show moved to Sony was channel interference. Sony is not known for being kind to its shows and I expected some interference here.
Unlike everyone here, I don't think they are setting Aruna up for the win. They'll probably make her 1st or 2nd runner-up. The winner will be someone who is a surprise for us - I'm hoping Gurki or maybe even Nayan. Plus they've had female winners for 3 seasons in a row. It's time for a male winner.
I feel this season just made huge blunders like Naziya's random return like a walk in the park or something lol 😂 , favoritism towards Aruna in some form or other, Swarna's bitching (which just looks like comedy only lol), etc.
Kdk was so stupid in the precap when Swarna told her about her cloth in the hot oil & safety hazard. Shanta's comment over shutting up people was even worse, making her look like an idiot.
It's just blatant favouritism towards Aruna at this point. I feel so bad for all the contestants, especially Priya. First of all of if Naziya hadn't come back for just a week, she wouldn't have been eliminated and she wasn't given these privileges that Aruna is getting so easily!

That wasnt Ranveer’s voice but how come they made such a major change and reshot an entire episode for one contestant? While it’s highly plausible, it really makes me wonder who is pulling the strings.
I guess most channels are shitty in terms of interference. Star Plus had added so much melodrama in its last 2 seasons…at least the cringe is gone.
The chefs are going with whatever the channel asks them to do. I don’t think anyone can do any favours to them. What can they possibly give these guys?
Garima and Vikas primarily work outside India and even if their restaurants close tomorrow their Michelin stars will help them. Ranveer has helped make the menus of many restaurants out of India, I am not sure if he runs any international establishment.
Another thing that I noticed yesterday was while Garima and Ranveer are being engaging, even doing some OTT stuff, Vikas doesn’t do much. Its as if he doesn’t want to do theatrics this season. Of course there is the occasional comments he passes, but this time I’ve seen him have more screen time in promo interviews than episodes. Makes me wonder whats really going on.
