Tasks you wish you could have seen in MC

Since I have been extremely upset by the quality of the show and I also know that most of you have been quite upset about it as well, I thought of creating a new task for all you guys.

You may treat this like a game if you wish.

If you have any suggestions to make this into a game, please do let me know by PMing me so that I amy edit the post to tun it into a game.

OK, so the task begins like this:

Each person have to give one task which you wish MC4 could have had.

Please do try to make the tasks as interesting as you want, but they must be realistic.

So, I will start - I would have like to see a task where the contestants do grommet cooking but only with vegan ingredients (I know that a lto f French diets have vine and stuff, so this task will involve creating a dish with no alcohol and no meat)

I would have liked to see a team task where they had to do catering for a large event, like feed the Indian Army or police.

I think a good team task would have also been for them to do like how the did on one season of MasterChef America where they had to do breakfast for a hotel and being prep in the wee hours of the morning.

For the Mystery Boxes, I think other protein sources should have been given as options to cook with like, tempeh or tofu. I would have liked them to use ingredients not as familiar to Indian households like kale, collard greens, acai berries, quinoa, poblano peppers, shiitake mushrooms, etc. Also, maybe different herbs like chives, Thai basil, tarragon, rosemary, or thyme. Perhaps different seeds like sunflower or pumpkin.

Even different challenges like for this challenge they must make Thai food or French cuisine, or even a specific oil only challenge, like only use sunflower oil or olive oil to cook. They could also do like, "You must make a cake, but you cannot use an oven." or "You must cook using only one pot and one knife." or "You must cook with only five ingredients from the pantry."

This is off the top of my head, so if I come up with more, I shall post.

Is have liked them to use liquid nitrogen to freeze stuff

In previous seasons they have had to cook in a bamboo or wrapped in mid, in a way they can't tell if their dish is cooked or not, would've liked to see that.

Running a stall, serving multiple things. Customers choose what they want. Different from having only 2 things. It would be tougher with multiple things.

To cook without a gas, chulha, etc, only equipment could be an oven or roti maker or something

Am not sure its ripu or shipra's season were they made sumthing lyk a chrismas tree that was really gud

I like all the ideas here.

Personally I wanted to see some more tests where they have to take ingredients often found outside of India (like maple syrup from Canada) and they have to make an authentic, classic Indian dish out of it. Now that would be a great task!

I also really wanted to see some taste tests in the elimination rounds. Bring out some of those classic Indian dishes or 5-star restaurant dishes and the person who guesses incorrectly first goes out.

OMG! Wow! I really like your suggestions! and, you thought of this off the top of your head?! These are really great ideas.

Star Plus should really have hired you! We would have gotten to see a great season!

It was Shipra's season. I've mentioned this earlier on this forum. It was a Christmas Wonderland by Chef Jehangir Mehta and it was filled with all donuts and marshmallows and stuff. I loved that challenge.

I loved this challenge from an intl MC (I guess America) where they had to innovate tin can food or something.

There was this challenge in MC Australia where 6 contestants were paired up and each pair was sent to three different chefs (they had a time limit in which they had to find cabs/ catch the subway all by themselves, find their way to the chefs, get the chefs' signature recipes, go back to the MC kitchen and immediately start cooking for the judges and some other chefs or someone) the dishes were absolutely stunning, and on top of that this challenge was in NYC, which made it harder for the Aussies to find their way through. One pair even took the wrong subway by mistake and ended up in some random city they had no idea about, another pair got stuck in the traffic etc.

@tulipbaby53 I have an oven which is really bad so I make cakes in cooker or some other giant vessel (or maybe sometimes in the microwave) I loved all the other ideas you suggested, pls join the crew of MCI they need you
