Also most South Indians are hardly bothered about the hindi reality shows. One, they have their own shows which are sometimes better, also no one watches the hindi stuff. And two, they know firstly they won't be selected, & if by chance they're then in the voting they won't get any voted (bcos no one in the south watches hindi stuff ) remember the Hyd singer in Indian idol 2 or 3? Karunya? He openly stated on tv that he won't win as he's from the south & Hussain told him that the audience will prove him wrong. Still he came 2nd. Only in season 5 did Sreeram win (also from Hyd).

Btw - Everyone seems to think Hyderabadis only speak like hao, nakko, miyan, bartana, cheateran 🤢 We don't, we can speak just as well as a hindi speaking person, sometimes even better. But stereotyping has prevailed

Karnal is in Haryana, not Andhra. Seems named after karna

Very true If your south indian you cant speak proper hindi all you know is broken bit n pieces hindi only. The whole contention is wrong but as you said south indians have their own channels programs contests etc many dont bother about hindi for that matter ppl in tamilnadu have ample tamil channels that they dont bother to look beyond it be it hindi kannada telugu or any language same scenario in all states cant blame anybody for this as localization has gone to grass root levels With so many channels and running 24/7 for want of serials and programs many channels have begun dubbing other language serials into local lang telecasting the same.I have seen Parichay Naa iss desh ladoo parvarish and few more serials dubbed and telecast in tamil so ppl think y bother looking elsewhere

Saying "ayyo" in every sentence is shown as south indian, dont know why !! Saw it in one of the serials on SP while browzing through the channels. Really feels disgusting when concepts are stereotyped and portrayed !
