They could have tasted Ishrat's dish and seen it was better than Navneet's who apparently doesn't know how to make something as simple as jelly.

Don't know what they are basing their decisions on...and who ever is editing the show is doing it in a way to keep up the elimination suspense, but it comes off looking like the judges are making poor decisions. For me personally, this is the worst season of MC.

To answer your question, have you ever heard the word called taste of food? Have you ever eaten a very well presented dish that you can not even swallo? If you have, you would know cooking is not necessarily same as fashion design.

Devyani was in bottom for a lot of weeks..and things can look really pretty but no taste..and plus we werent there to taste..

errr... when 13 layers mix into mush, there is NO taste. try this at home - melt just 4 flavours of ice cream together and then try and appreciate the taste. no matter how premium the ice cream, it will all just taste the same. Again when food all mixes together there is no taste whatsoever.

and devyani's dish was not "un-swallow-able" and simply all about presentation. her 12 layers were perfect and had distinct taste, only the falooda was not that good.

clearly a case of scripted "reality"

When you go to a 5star hotel, the first thing is their presentation, be it an international dish, fusion food or street food. Presentation is the star. Taste comes later. And not all their dishes are tasty, some are downright bland (talking of Indian food here, which if not masaledaar, is at least flavourful).

It did seem all fake... I don't know how did Doyal even finish making it inspite of lagging behind so much... and still it doesn't make sense for a 3-layered,messed-up falooda to win over the 13-layered one...

They should have some kind of entertainment till the end so that people watches the show. Doyal acts stupid and crazy and so they will keep her for sure no matter what. Next turn to go is Nisha. So they will two cry babies - Doyal and Yasmin, one egoistic and over confideny Navneet and at the end Ripu. I think it's all decided they want Ripu as winner and so they will keep all those who are not so good than Ripu. Ripu is a clear winner.
