hii guys😃...well just thought to increase the actvity so had this topic..so guys i know we ll are foody here😆...me too😆...but me very bad at making food...so lets share some recipes any which u know or is ur fav...

so lets start guys..maybe members will be benefited by it😉 and we may come to know some good chefs on our forum😃

Bean Salad with Pickled Vegs

Onion, chopped 1;
Capsicum, chopped 1;
Tomato, chopped 1
Green chillies, chopped;
Garlic cloves, chopped 4;
Olives, chopped or halved 10
Coriander, chopped 1/2 bunch;
White chickpeas, boiled 1/2 cup;
Kidney beans, boiled 1/2 cup
Black chickpeas, boiled 1/2 cup;
White beans, boiled 1/2 cup;
Radish, chopped 1/2 cup;
Vinegar 1/2 cup;
Lemon juice 2 tbsp;
Black pepper 1/2 tsp;
Salt 1/2 tsp


Heat 1/2 cup vinegar and the flame to low. Soak capsicum, garlic, green chillies and onion and set aside for 5 minutes (until the onion changes colour).

In a bowl, mix tomato, chickpeas white and black, kidney beans, radish, olives, white beans, salt, pepper and lemon juice.

Add the pickled mix and mix well. Serve.


Note - Can be used as a salad as well as a pickle.

Shabnam ke Moti (cottage cheese stuffed mushrooms)

10 - 12 button mushrooms; stems removed to reveal a hollow
1/4 cup grated cottage cheese
1/4 cup grated processed cheese
10-12 mint leaves; finely chopped
1 cup hung curd
1 tablespoon corn flour
1 teaspoon turmeric
Oil
Salt
Red chili powder
Dhania powder
Elaichi ( cardamom) powder
Garam masala


Boil the mushrooms in water for 5 minutes.
Mix grated cottage cheese with mint leaves, salt and red chili powder.
Stuff this mixture into the mushrooms.

For the coating - with hung card mix 1 teaspoon garam masala, dhania powder and elaichi powder. Add salt and red chili powder. Mix in the grated cheese. Heat a tablespoon of oil and add turmeric to it and add this to the mixture.

Coat the mushrooms with this mixture and grill in a preheated oven until golden.

can someone pls share how to make homemade garam masala powder? The store bought ones don't have that aroma. Thanks a lot in advance.

100 gms each:
Bay leaf (tej pata)
Cloves
Cinnamon
Badi elaichi
2-3 star anise (don't know the Hindi name)

100 gram jeera
10 - 12 peppercorns

Lightly roast the ingredients on a tawa until fragrant and grind into a fine powder.

Malabar recipe -Muttapathiri

Egg 4,
Milk 3 teaspoon ,
Maida 1 cup
Wheat flour 1 cup
Curd 1 teaspoon
Sugar 4 teaspoon
Cardamom 1/4 teaspoon
Ghee 3 teaspoon
Salt,


Make a smooth dough with maida, wheat flour, curd and salt by adding little ghee to it. Beat the eggs, milk, sugar and cardamamom in a seperate vessel. Make small balls from the already prepared dough and roll it like chappatis. Heat the tava, dip the rolled pathiri in the beaten egg mixture and fry it in the tava by smearing ghee.
