Lot of Q??? Need answer

Why the hell on earth Uttara not telling truth to Adi? What is stopping her? I understand if she does not want to accept in court but why on earth she can't confide in Adi.

All viewers knows its Tara's future which is stopping Uttara then why ppl in Dev's clan figure out the reason of Uttara's chuppi! It is so obvious for Brahma to threat her.

Why can't Baugi testify? He is the one who always encouraged Dev to take this step. What can be better evidence as father testifying against his own son? If he can register complain of shooting then why not now when Dev needs more?

Why can't Vidya come and tell court how her FIL fired on her husband?

How can anybody think that his father is right and all other ppl are liars? Why can't he go and ask his own Masi the explanation?

I don't think Devyani knows that Uttara killed her husband in self defense.

Why can't she tell her own sister that she wants to protect her daughter. (one doubt does Dev knows Uttara killed her husband?)

The short answer for all your questions...because then there wouldn't be a drama. If characters made rational choices...shows wouldn't have exciting, sensational, frustrating things to keep viewers hooked. A real person in a similar situation would probably not act like Adi...but we're supposed to go along with it because it's TV.

Why Uttara won't tell Adi - I think it's because she takes Brahma's threat really seriously, when he said you can't tell anyone, she takes it as really cannot tell anyone. I wish she would confide in Adi as you said, though, to give him more perspective! And more truth, though who knows if he would accept it...

Why she won't tell Dev - same reason, and same wish on my part. She could at least have the decency to let Dev know why she can't support her, now that she knows Dev was always telling the truth about Brahma. And if she told Dev, they could maybe have used that in court against Brahma! (IDK if Dev knows about Risabh)

Why house members don't seem to be guessing about the threat - MAYBE they still don't think Brahma would be so low as to threaten to *kill* his own niece (am I remembering right? did he say kill or just promise she would be hurt/endangered/something bad?). As you said, we all know it, so it is obvious to us...the family members are apparently just not thinking about her motives.

Why can't Bauji testify - I totally agree with you!!!! there is no good reason why!!! honestly to me it comes back to the drama, Bauji is a side character, it wouldn't be as exciting to show him stepping forward

Why can't Vidya testify about the shooting -- good point, this would help the case against Brahma. But we've already seen Devyani say she didn't want to get Priya involved, I think part of the reason is she didn't want to get any of the kids involved so it applies to Vidya too. Also though Gaurav and Karan have both come out to their families, it's not clear that they are open about their relationship in general, and maybe they don't want it known that they are gay because it would complicate people's dealings with them - some people would react negatively? Or even if they don't care, Devyani probably has a strong opinion on it, so she's not trying to use the incident for the case.

How can Adi only believe Brahma, why doesn't he go talk to Uttara -- because if he were more sensible, the whole thing would be over much more quickly with much less tension...

Hah so yeah all my answers come back to the idea that these are characters, not people, and if they behave in utterly ridiculous ways, ways that are not believable...it's probably for plot reasons...

Also they're fictional characters, so they can be exaggerations. In real life someone might be very, very stubborn, refuse to face the truth, only believe what they want to believe - Adi just takes it to an infuriating extreme.

So I have a question of my own -- Why isn't Adi thinking about why Priya and Dev would be "betraying" him? He thinks they're telling all these lies, trying to hurt his father -- but what does he think they will get out of it?? A sensible person might think, 'wow, these are serious claims, there must be a good reason behind them, it would be almost unthinkable that someone would make this up because there's not much reason in that...'

Maybe he's convinced Dev is being shameless so she can get the divorce to carry on her "affair"...but what, in his perspective, would Priya have to gain from that?? If only he realized that Priya could not be telling these painful truths for any fake reason, any motive of false personal gain...!!!
