Very well written.

I agree it would be horrible if Gaurav would all of a sudden become straight and love Vidya. Being gay is not a disease that can be cured. Gaurav can certainly love vidya but it is not a romantic love.

Both Gaurav and Vidya deserve to be happy in a relationship that is normal for them and for Gaurav that is Karan.

I would really hate it if after all of this they are going to fix Gaurav and have him be with Vidya. I really want them to explore Vidya with Chinnu and keep Gaurav with Karan.

The makers will not go down the bisexual or gay-to-straight path. They chose to make Gaurav gay after a lot of thought. It was not a decision made lightly or for some temporary eyeballs! The fact that the show's TRPs have only improved after Gaurav's truth came out proves that the audience is ready for television shows to go where others before them did not dare to. Can the potrayal be improved...certainly. But for a country where such storylines are rarer than the proverbial blue moon, it is a huge step and the production house and writers are surely more than aware of the responibility that have undertaken to bear. I get that each viewer is entitled to their opinion but I wish people would try to broaden their thinking. The show is trying to make the reality we all live in come alive on screens and if we as viewers do not evolove our thinking, we are no better than the regressive show makers out there who give us whatever crap they think we want to watch.

I really hope so!

Jaya🤗right back at you! I was looking at my friends list and couldn't figure out who BheeginiBasanti was. Then when I visited the Maryada forum I recognized your writing style ; )

I got sick of some of the story lines and then I didn't see the random musings thread any longer and lost interest in the forum as well.

Kind of watching again but not completely. Hope you're doing well.
