This story started last October
With plot lines that moved
Now it seems to be in the doldrums
With nothing to keep us glued! 🤔

A story of four women
Each with a battle to face
Has now degenerated
In to plots that lack pace! 😳

Where is the lawyer protagonist
Who wanted justice at any cost?
This cliched silence on her part
Is quite simply boring to watch! 🥱

Then there is the domestic abuse victim
Who killed the husband who almost did her in
But now she's shown misunderstanding her only sister
Without once questioning her Jeejaji's behavior?

Coming to one of serialdom's most complex mothers
Her story still lacks the needed depth or character
Despite her being a victim of Brahma's emotional torture,
Her actions are mostly inexplicable to the viewer! 😒

Finally, there's the only storyline with any meat
A woman married to a guy who moves to a different beat!
Kudos for going where no one's gone before
But I'm yet to see the poignancy or depth come to the fore! 😔

Please creatives...I hope you wake up
And give us back the writing we've loved!
I hope you remember what this story's been about
And keep the bond between the women intact! 😍

*********************************************************************************

Hola peeps! Its getting quiet in here...come out come out! 😆 Am finally caught up after being behind for weeks now and I have to say that I'm disappointed. The whole Uttara - Brahma - Devyani track just turns me off big time. I have no issues with SasurPig doing what he does but the way Uttara has been shown does not work for me at all especially given how much I liked her character during the Rishabh days!

I am still withholding judgement on Gaurav's story. So far its been very standard fare. The depth needed has not been shown! A good line here and there is quite nearly not enough...not by a long shot!

Overall: The last few weeks have averaged a 3 for me with a couple of good episodes and sequences in the fray!

Heyy dear!! How are you?
Actually for me its the opposite. lol I finally have started to watch Maryada on a regular basis. I was waiting for Gaurav and Vidya track to come up. Vindhya has done a great job. Her performance is applaud worthy. I have just loved the past 2 weeks or so of Maryada :D

Gagan...Hiya...🤗...how are you? Have not been at the Koffee with TV CC in a while. Great to see you here! There have certainly been some very good sequences and episodes in the past few weeks but the last month or so has been average for me. Have you just started watching or have you seen this from the start? I love this show...but...I miss the pace and crispness of the writing from the first few months. Vindhya and Dakssh are doing great in some of the episodes in the last few weeks but my biggest grouse I guess is the progress or lack thereof in the rest of the tracks. Hope to see you around the forum regularly now...😊.

Hey Jaya 🤗 good to have you back.
The poem is great, says everything. Especially the last line "and keep the bond between the women intact".
The show is about these four women so they should stay united and fight back together.
