Ahhh...today was all about Brahma for me! 😊
As expected, the episode began with Abhishek's character in the movie Game raiding the rave. Less said the better about it! Boring script and average acting! I guess not much can be done with such promotional activities. Wish it had been more "dhamekedhaar"! 😳 But...I have to say...that Rana dude was looking fineee ☺️! Yeah yeah it is me...no alien has taken over my body...I promise...🤣. Maybe I'll actually go watch the movie now. 😳
Then there was that gazillion-th confrontation between Priya and Brahma. The moment these two start, it takes everything in me not to 🥱. But...today's screenplay and execution was good. Brahma's uncontrollable rage was spot on from a character standpoint. He is now so obsessed with preventing things from progressing between Priya & Aditya that his anger is believable. As always, I loved Vishwajeet's acting. Having seen people in a blind rage in my past, Viswajeet's brilliant emoting sent a shiver up my spine. 👍🏼 I skipped last Friday's episode so I enjoyed seeing Brahma's crony who now also moonlights in "Geet HSP" as the lovable Jugnu Mama. Maybe it's just me but I kept waiting for him to say something about his "shatir dimaag" 🤣 and get punched by SasurPig in return. Finally...there was Priya's self thought after hanging up on Brahma...👍🏼. Phew...I was beginning to wonder if the writers knew how to weave introspection in to the screen play effectively! More of it is needed in the script...esp. with Devyani, Uttara and Vidya! 😳
Post the accident, scheming Brahma was at his villainous best. 😡 Of course his evil brains would not let him miss the opportunity at hand to play spoilsport in Priya's honeymoon plans. 😳 Only somebody as depraved as this character has been sketched could harm himself this way without any hesitation and actually enjoy it. 👍🏼 Fabulous work by the writers keeping Brahma's behavior consistent with the character sketch. 👏 Loved it!
At the Jhaakar mansion, Devyani and the rest of the family is awakened by Thakur bringing an "unconscious" and injured Brahma home. SasurPig uttering "Beta" and quickly changing it to "Beta Adi" after hearing Gaurav respond made me crack up. 🤣 We can hate his guts as written and shown but what an awesome villain...I love it! 😳
Back in Goa, Aditya manages to arrange a romantic set-up for Priya and him in all of...ten minutes 😳 . That said, the romance that followed was far better than the "maha episode" sequence from a few weeks ago. But...what was with the editing in this sequence? It lacked a smooth continuity with its abrupt transitions. For e.g. Priya and Aditya were lying on a chaise one second and Adi was carrying Priya to the tent in the next....The writers also need to take a lesson from the books of their brethren writing for Star One shows. 😈 Romance needs to be shown slowly and smoothly to be effective on screen. A lot can be said with the simplest of touches or looks. Come on writers...you can do better! 😒
Overall: Its a 3.5 from me today. Despite the cute-sy Aditya - Priya romance in the screenplay, it was Brahma/Vishwajeet's episode all the way! 👏
