devyani,uttara,priya and vidya-four grown responsible ladies and tools of fate.Whatever their beliefs,they have always believed foremost in themselves,and according to me they all are born fighters and situvations coupled with resistance merely has fuelled the enthusiasum for the cause they are upholding MARYADA(dont know about priya yet).
But beneath the falsity of MARYADA, they all are vulnerable and disillusions and have a breaking desire to break down the walls of maryada.devyanis life has been constantly darkened by storm clouds followed by uttaras and vidyas life.Mistakes are things that happen inadvertently but in these three ladies life they are content to have their near persons to be "protected" from hurt by keeping them in ignorance as in case of aditya,as he has remained in veil of ignorance.
They think things might become allrite.Illusions are necessary for survival of human spirit,from illusions greatest hopes are derived.But life is no fairy tale and why are these ladies quiet?Sometimes in life " protecting" our loved ones from hurt is far more dangerous than from what we are protecting them from.Why hasnt devyani confided her grievances to her sons and more than spp she has more at fault for she has painted herslf in front of others as the one endowed with feminine virtures,and uttara seems like she is substituting her life with the name of duty,and what love can withstand burden of being endured as duty??????????
Vidya is locked by percepts of her upbringing and her misconceptions about herself and gaurav to course of action that could ruin their fine friendship,their relation is artificially generated and cannot withstand trial relation.
Desperate situvations call for desperate measures and in the case of these woman(taking exception of priya hopefully)the enemy within them that is MARYADA is more terrifying foe than any other mere targer and these three remarkable woman have given every scrap of their self respect to the fate???????????and as the proverb goes"when u play the piper u play the tune" and in the cause of maryada they all are threading on dangerous ground which might slip underneath their feet and claim them.................so the question is lekin kab tak -MARYADA......................?????????????
