Kamya's image change-Article

Kamya Punjabi, more famously known as the evil Sindoora of Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, is back on TV with Maryada — Lekin Kab Tak. Shockingly, however, the actress is not playing another scheming devil but plays Uttara, a housewife whose husband beats her.

An excited Kamya reveals: "I had been getting offers for negative roles but I wanted to break free from the image which I had got after playing Sindoora. So I chose to play Uttara."

Meanwhile, new mom Kamya is confident of balancing motherhood and her career.

"My mom is there to take care of my child so I decided to come back on the sets. But I won't shoot for long hours like I used to."
