Scene shifts to aditya and his granddad. Aditya's grandad asks him if the girl is brave or not as she might not be able to settle in the family if she isn't. Aditya answers saying she has a lot of courage and is also very strong but she sometimes forgets to be.
Back to priya..mr pradhan tells priya that we should go from here but priya is reluctant and says she will have to sort out this matter first. She asks the rickshaw guy to tell everyone what exactly happened but he doesn't say anything so priya tells everyone that you never know what a decent girl can turn out to be and also tells one of the individuals that it could be even your neighbour's daughter tomorrow. Priya gets angry and tells everyone that all you do is gather around and accuse a decent girl. She asks everyone but they are all quite and leave. Another nice rickshaw guy is standing there and offers to drop them. Chinu tells priya that we all really did benefit from this darshan..priya remembers aditya's words . Priya and aditya both remember eachother..flashbacks shown..ishq hai music playing.
Jhakar house
Guests are coming in and everyone are greeting each other. Gaurav is in his room looking tensed..still not ready. Devyani comes in and asks him why he still isn't ready. Gaurav is annoyed and tells Devyani what if i don't get ready. He asks her why she keeps telling him to this when he is not happy with all this. Gaurav's dad also comes in and tells him why he isn't listening to which gaurav says that whatever he does..nothing pleases him. Before more tension gets created devyani tells his dad to go. He leaves but not before warning gaurav that he should not disgrace the family's honour and should get ready soon. Devyani asks gaurav why he is answering back when he knows how his father is. Gaurav replies saying what should I do? Just because im his son does it mean i should take care of his honour. Devyani says im talking about myself. She tells him to do it for her sake as it is her house too and she also has reputation. She explains to him that vidya also has hopes and wishes and that he should fulfill them. She tells him that this sindoori night will unite husband and wife. Gaurav doesn't look so pleased.
The girls are putting haldi on vidya and the rest of the girls are singing and dancing. Gaurav gets a phone call while getting ready but he does not answer it. All the women tease vidya and laugh saying if the sindoori night will last for a day or for the whole week or even the whole month.
Gaurav's friends are also laughing with him saying your wife only supports you in the start but later on turns you into a weapon. Back to the girls...everyone are having a good time..laughing and still teasing vidya. The girls start dancing again and aditya peeks in and joins them after..but gets kicked out by devyani and gets scolded too. Aditya wants to go back inside but devyani tells him to join his brother and give some of his 'besharmi' to him as he is always so shy.
Gaurav's friends greet aditya and call him the 'chaukedaar' as it will be his turn next for sindoori raat. Aditya calls jaggi and the boys leave with him to get something to drink. Gaurav and aditya are left alone...aditya asks gaurav what the matter is as he looks quite nervous. Aditya tells him that he is the best in this matter and should know all this stuff. Gaurav tells him that back in collage days they were all girls but in this case it is his wife but aditya tells him that they should become friends first. Gaurav says it is easy to say it but just as hard to do. Aditya tells him to hurry all this so his turn can come quickly. The boys take gaurav away. Aditya says to himself he should find priya soon so they can get married.
Priya returns home with mr pradhan and chinu and sees the lights on and windows open. The get worried and go inside to find some men sitting there in a drunken state and playing cards.
PRECAP- uttara and her husband enter the jhaakar's house. Devyani says to herself that she prays no one's evil eye casts upon todays shagun.
