What's wrong with Devyani ?

it can also be maybe because she herself is going through the same thing in the hands of her husband, so there is nothing new or wrong in getting beat up by ur hubby in her book

just hope Uttara does not get killed by husband before someone else see through what is really going on BTW them.

Why is she helping her conceal domestic violence, considering Uttara's her sister and is suffering so much ? Even Devyani's husband and her sons seem to be concerned and supportive of Uttara-so there's really no reason to conceal her plight. I literally went W*H when she's like, "Aankh ke neeche nishan hai, make-up jaldi mein kiya hoga, theek kar le." Why would she want to conceal something as horrible as domestic violence, esp when her sister is in so much pain ? Instead of helping Uttara out of the whole mess, she's trying to gloss over it and ignore it completely.

Or am I missing something, coz I usually skim through the parts of the epi which seem to be getting too heavy and depressing. Was there any reason for Devyani's behavior provided earlier ? Coz right now, its really bothering me. :S

but on a second note.....i also think that what would devyani had done coz uttara didn't utter a word against her hubby n came back in full-makeup to cover what he just did.......😒

Devyani knows very well her sister's situation. She is the only one who knows that Rishab bet her sister, while others are only guessing the situation (remember she is the one who attended the phone call). But she like a typical woman of those places thinks that it is a common thing and woman has to win over the situation. She thinks that the woman has to use her weapon, her womanhood, to take control of the situation. The only other altrenative is seperation which I think is a way big thing for her. Unfortunately most of the woman think either they have to bare or they have to use their womanhood to survive the situations but never even think of revolt. She is a typical woman. I am not surprised if she advices similar things to her daughter in law in future..
