LOL VS and SB. I hope feedback reaches to him. He did mention that half the audience wants him to dye hair and half like salt and pepper look, so he does read some social media comments.
Maybe he will get time after release of ADKG. He had 3 releases recently Pushpak Viman, Shubh Lagna and Agadbem! That must have been exhausting.
I read he is bored with films and wanted to act in a tv serial and so TPR happened. Maybe he is bored with the kind of films he was offered.
After Balgandharv Lokmanya Katyar this other films look so mundane even though it would have involved same hard work.
I wish Marathi movies start earning truckloads of money giving actors and everyone creative freedom.
He faced financial hassles even during Katyar and even from Zee! Read in his book. It must have been so frustrating. Imagine this state with the stellar caste they had.
I just wish he gets fitter and acts and entertains with huge success 😊
I am not against his salt pepper looks, I mean I love that, but yes little more black is not going to hurt, specially for VS character. Anyway lets hope he will make us happy soon😛
About Marathi content getting money, its so hard for them, even when they are creating such an awesome content/ movies, good example: Katyar, I mean look at that movie, Story, music, cinematography, overall treatment, acting ,everything was perfection. I am so proud him for creating such a a beautiful movie, its really sad to see that even with so much talent they have to struggle for money, look at this shitty recent Bollywood movies who gets tons of money.. I wish Netflix puts in some money in regional content too, that way all these amazing creative people can get a different outlet.. I have seen so many awesome Mexican, french, or Norwegian dramas, so why not Marathi?
I am sure after Katyar, Balgandharva,Lokmanya, and now ani DR Kashinath, his expectations have changed, he wants to try different roles but its not easy to get good content all the time, so he probably have to compromise sometimes. We surely need people like him in Marathi industry, I really hope he gets lots of success, and hope this Dr Kashinath movie earns lot of money, so that companies like Viacom put in more money in Marathi movies/content.
With Katyar SB has got a special place in everybody's heart. I am so proud of Katyar and his sensibilities which makes him take risks like Balgandharv.
We just watch movies and don't think of all background. You should read his book, how much he thought and introspected about Balgandharv women characters. How it was for months before shooting started when he didn't feel he was getting it right. He found the character after his makeup and look test just when movie shooting started. He was worried it will look like man dressed as woman.
How magnificent he was in Balgandharv.
I wish ADKG huge success, we can just go and watch in a theatre. Yes Netflix and Amazon should put money in Marathi content.
Hindi movies even if they flop recovere loads of it back with music and satellite rights!
