Let me tell u a case of my class mate that I never shared here

I won't take her name

She is Bengali , fell in love with an UP boy in school days

Dono ki families bko manane me 2 saal lage

Recently they have celebrated 3rd anniversary

But she is not allowed in kitchen and temple

Her in laws don't involve her in serious family discussion

And her MIL doesn't like her at all

What will you say now

on topic, this inter-community love stories sound good but it's a difficult marriage

one girl i know is a singh married a maharashtrian dude and even she says even though they r married for a year, it is tough everyday facing snide comments from her in-laws

Every case is different. My daughter has had an intercaste marriage and believe it or not she is more closer than a daughter to her in-laws. So it is not possible to generalize.
