Nachi trys to talk to Baba. Baba fires him for tricking him. Nisha then tells him that she has done what Shiv asked her to do. Baba shocked. Sitting alone he goes into flashback, remembers Nisha telling him about Shiv's Worli flat.

Aajee trys to pacify him but he gets angry on her too. Accuses that they all tricked him. Aajee says they were worried he would be upset during the marriage that is why they lied to him and Shiv did not lie. But Baba accuses Shiv also of tricking him. Very upset that Gauri will be alone there at Benaras.

Gauri's Grihapravesh at Benaras. Amma leading the ceremony. Dadi watching. Urmila eagerly welcomes her to her new home. Amma taunts that the house is same but only the bahu is new. Dadi watching this and caustically comments about it.

Amma giving her instructions to go to temple for Kuldevata ashirwad. as per custom. Dadi fires her saying they must be tired from travelling so she has kept photographs of the deity and they need not go to the temple. Shauri go to the room for Kuldevata ashirwad accompanied by Urmila and Chuttan.

Urmila later takes Gauri with her to her room and Shiv goes to Chuttan's room as instructed by Dadi.

Dadi warns Amma that she has been watching all her nautanki and she should desist from it. Amma also talks back that does she want to act like she did to Devrani not allowing her to visit the temple. Dadi warns her again. Amma tells Sarla that Dadi had assumed that Shauri would be staying at Mumbai so she had agreed for the marriage but now with Gauri staying in Benaras she will make life difficult for her.

It looks like full kat karastan mode. With Dadi only partially supporting Shauri against Amma. I am getting a creepy feeling that Dadi has not fully accepted Gauri as part of her community. 🤢

@Suruchi07, Dadi was not angry at Gauri but it appears that Gauri will be treated differently from the rest of the family when it comes to community and customs.
