Gauri seems to have a weird sense of humour by smilingly putting hirvya mirchya in Shiv's dabba! If he eats it, she cries and is upset and if he had not eaten them she would have said that proves he does not love her and would also have got upset. Signs of immaturity of Gauri's character IMO.

Whats Gauri's age? Is she 'matimand' or 'gatimand' types?

The only reason is, she is shown to be so inconsistent. Shiv is shown so strong, mature and single minded in wooing Gauri whereas Gauri come across as dilly dallying. One moment she is sweet to him and the next moment she fires him without any reason. Perhaps they wanted to show her feelings of uncertainty but in the process she is made to look very neurotic.
But things are changing for the better I am sure. Gauri is now smiling more often and she is now more open about her feelings for Shiv. So the romance can really move forward from now on.
And yes Nachiket, after Aditya-Meghana, I find this pair the most refreshing on the small screen. The reason is that they are maintaining that same level of decency and tenderness in the romance as JYRG.

Sagi, not only Gauri will find resistance from her father but Shiv will have resistance from his mom. But I am certain that Shiv will be shown to be determined come what may even if Gauri backs down.
However, I think we must expect all these ups and downs otherwise the serial will end too quickly. How they both emotionally bond and overcome the crises will be of interest. If they gel well (as they seem to be recently doing) then the story will keep us interested. If they branch out and bring in unnecessary characters (with stretched roles) then the serial will go downhill (as PAM is doing).
