Kamal - absolutely agreed. The lady you said who plays urmi's mom is ravindra karmarkar's wife. Ravindra is episode director of HSM & MPS - is right hand of MD. She played one scene in Rege too. So she gets such minuscule roles. But actor who plays Urmi's father has acted in quite a few marathi & hindi serials like Avghachi sansar & crime patrol etc.

Any idea of name of actor who plays Urmi's father. I faintly remember that he used to be on some comedy show/serial some years back.

I don't understand why ZM never displays the names of the actors while title song is playing. Is there any policy by ZM to not show the names? 😲 😲

Today's episode was also good. GO in full form. His harsh/unreasonable behavior looks out of place in today's city life but probably is still the norm in villages. Vasu and Mai also were subdued but quite good today. Urmi as expected, is damn good. But today's surprise package was Vasu's married sister. She looks a very capable actress. Her bonding with Vasu and rebellious argument with GO was really impressive.
@MG, I hope they at least put up the actors names on their website.

One good thing of this serial which I have liked (so far) is that there is no Kat Karasthan, no villain and no overacting by anyone (though GO is shown to be very dominating, which I think is as per the story need). Everyone is acting like normal and down to earth. If they can maintain this level of simplicity, I will be definitely watching this without missing it.

kat-karasthan is replaced by lapva-chhapvi theme in last 2 years - which will eventually happen in this serial when marriage between lead couple takes place.

IMO the serial, though based on lapva chapvi, will concentrate on getting all the "extremes" to "moderation". The orthodox Dada Pant, Mai, Urmi's grandmother etc. will be on one side and modern Vasu, his sister and Urmi's dad on the other side (the tagline in one of the promos, Urmi will bridge the gap between her parents and in-laws is a clear indication of this). Urmi will have the job of bringing both sides to moderation. After everyone is eating out of Urmi's hands (and she becomes the "laadki" of the family), then only this "false horoscope" issue will be raised and the families will realize that "matching of minds" is the most important factor in a marriage. That is my guess. In such a setting there is very little scope for kat karasthan and villains (I really hope so). I hope the serial ends then and does not get dragged like the post Peti prakaran of JYRG.

Kamal - all your points agreed but being a serial this 2 line story will be streeetched across 2 years. That's the pity.
