OK friends, I am going out on a limb and saying this serial could be interesting (forever optimistic!). It may have a base of lapva chapvi but my guess is it will be a clash of modern Vs orthodox and probably the down to earth girl is going to be the bridge between the two. The spirited performance so far in the episode as well as the latest promos show that the girl is going to be the link for calming things down between the boy and his father and also between her parents and the boys parents.

Kamal i think clash betwn modern and orthodox is inminent but that wont be forever focal point and romance will soon take over. Normal delaying tactis and will drag the serial. First 30-40 epis are always interesting.

@Mishkil, I think it will depend on the actors how they can make it interesting. MPS and NSB were clearly disasters within a week or so because of their poor leads. It remains to be seen if PAM can keep us interested for more than that (I am optimistic because of the girl and GO). If they can do that then we can think of the next 40 episodes.

I watched today's episode and found it OK. The boy also acted ok today. The girl was quite good. GO as usual was at his thundering best. Supporting actors may be a bit unknown but I do remember that the girl's father was on some comedy show. The boy's mother too is a seen face but I don't remember where. I definitely find it more sensible than NSB or MPS. So I intend to watch it for some more time and not give up on it just based on the first few episodes.

I didn't feel the serial and plot impressive at all (at least in the first episode) so I didn't watch the entire episode . I am getting a feeling that this serial is being made to recreate the magic of JYRG up to a certain extent. These are some of the observations which make me think this way.

1. I think it is the same set of JYRG which is being used as their house in the village with some changes done to it.
2. GO's wife and hero's mother is again called Mai with similar big kunku on her forhead, amboda and general getup which was used for SKM in JYRG.
3. Bringing GO for the character similar to Babaji of JYRG where he is a strong believer of Jyotish/patrika/Swami/Math etc.

Also why was the need to have that ashuddha marathi speaking guy as hero's friend? 🤢 That kinda set me off 😡 and I switched to watching the news instead.

Me too watched today's episode and really liked it, esp GO, very powerful appearance 👍🏼 Comparatively, both the sons are not that impressive 😕 The actress playing Vasu's mother is Meghana Vaidya...was Poorva Gokhale's mom in Kulavadhu and GO's (Dinesh) wife in Agnihotra.

@MG, they will definitely try to create another JYRG (or another HSM) because none of their other serials have taken off. But I decided not to look at it that way (whether they are copying something or not) but whether the entertainment is wholesome, whether it is sensible and whether the acting is OTT or not. So far, this serial is OK and not too boring. I am willing to give it benefit of doubt for some initial episodes and hope things will settle down after that. The NSB lead pair is too artificial and MPS has a ridiculous (most unbelievable) theme so I have some hopes on this serial as of now.

Kamal, I will try to watch some episodes but I don't think I can keep the optimism for long. Let's see if they bring the level up in next few episodes.

I don't even feel like talking about any other ZM serials (atishay daridri serials) as I have stopped watching them looonnggg back and not aware of the current story line at all 🤢 🤢 I sometimes watch CHYD if they are having well known guests otherwise there is nothing interesting on ZM anymore.
