An appeal to all JYRGIANS!!!!!
We all know our beloved serial is ending soon. We don't have any issues about ending the serial, every good thing has to end, but am sure the way its closure is planned (plotted, should I say?) has certainly made all of us upset. Like here, there are many JYRGians outside too on other platforms and all are expressing their grief and angst about this unexpected winding up of the serial. Moreover, the way they are ending it has broken the trust for Zee Marathi for many! Hence we have decided to come forward and show our displeasure for the injustice done to this serial since a long period of time. To do so, we shall be trending on Twitter with #JusticeForJYRG on Saturday, 19th Sept between 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM India Time. When we say injustice to JYRG we are talking about three main points that shows how Zee Marathi has always been unfair to a quality project, only, this time the target was our JYRG. And all this is due to some internal politics brewing inside the channel circle which is so obvious to the audience.
1. JYRG has been constantly shoved away by Zee Marathi, by completely stopping its Mahaepisodes, TV promos, repeat telecasts.
2. When the show was in full swing with the pune track introduced lately, it was unexpectedly wound up eventually marking the closure of the serial just before the Zee Marathi awards lined up soon. Now we as an audience are not fools to not to understand that this was clearly done to shut the doors for JYRG being in the nomination race as it was a strongest contender comparing to what s#*% is being offered by Zee Marathi.
3. The serial is at its last stage and a sudden twist was brought to it by introducing an adoption track without any such background of social cause shown ever in the serial. This was merely done to make the serial look pathetic and miserable so much so that the audience accepts that its better to end the serial and bring its TRPs down to 0 justifying why the channel pulled the plug of JYRG. I repeat, We are not fools to not to understand this strategy.
On account of the above points noted, I appeal all of you to join us this coming saturday to protest this dirty politics which snatches our basic right of clean entertainment. This is the first time any marathi serial will be trended on a social networking platform by its fan base. You can tweet your displeasure for the injustice done to JYRG by including the hashtag #JusticeForJYRG in your tweets. Lets make it happen guys, so that we can have a slightest hope of our JYRG atleast being nominated in this year's ZM awards.
P.S -> If you are not on Twitter, please, I beg, please register yourself on twitter for your beloved serial and for Aditya Meghana, and be part of this protest on Saturday, 19th Sep, 7:00 - 8:00 PM India time.
Regards,
Nachiket ( A hardcore JYRGian just like you)
