Invisible Cities consisted of five plays. Two are already described in the link that Zoey gave (HT article). these two plays were performed in a group and LP was there in both of them.

the third one was called Conscience, which was of a guy called Luigi wanting to desperately kill Alberto for reasons not explained in the play. this was a one act play and the character of Luigi was played by LP to perfection.

Another play where LP was not there but was played by two other equally good artistes of a man moving in an unknown city and was constantly followed by a stranger who keeps reminding him that his shoe laces are not tied. It was a bit eerie.

the last play i am unable to recall immediately.

But the plays by themselves I thought are very abstract and are difficult to understand unless one knows before hand what they are all about. In fact, after the first play itself, I heard people muttering "Kuch samaj mein nahi aa raha hai; chalo nikelein" and they moved out . Some others were excitedly saying"Arre ha Zee Marathi serials madhye kaam karto", etc.

LP came onto the stage and announced the names of the five plays and must say that they were directed very well.
Also, the Horniman Circle Garden (where the plays were staged) was almost filled to capacity.

At the end, LP came on stage and called his entire team too and thanked everyone for coming and then told the audience that the music for the plays was by Aakash Prabhakar who was sitting in front of the stage (in a corner) playing the music on the guitar. Music was very simple and effective which really brought out/highlighted the stories.

then LP told the audience that if they have any suggestions/comments to improve the play, they may please come backstage and meet him and his team.

then another member of his team said Just a minute and introduced LP as the director of the play and Ashwajeet K as the translator of these 5 plays for which they received a huge applause and he spoke quite a bit to the audience and said Shubhratri and LP just stood there very shyly throughout.

TFS Ameya...
Those plays are really difficult to understand.We can guess how difficult it must be for LP to direct it and as LP said to HT,They didn't try to conclude but let the audience to do so.
I have seen that pic where LP is standing with the team and Yes,he looked shy there...
What was the duration of play?3 Hrs???

@Jasmin...Language Marathi asel na. Why you think it can be in Eng?😕

@Zoey
50-55 minutes.

Very slickly directed. No dragging the play. so it held audience interest.

Hi Guyzzz...am back.

Zoey, Rupali, DD, gs,Jani, ASM I respect ur opinion of giving it a fresh start..and wherever credit is due it should be given.

Kimaya, I understand we r mature people to not hold a grudge agnst small odd things esp when we r talking abt virtual world and should move ahead.But at the same time though its a virtual world we r dealing with real people and for some things time is the only solution since you are v young u will get wat am I saying as u grow up.It was not about quitting but it was about joining back with a promise to myself of not hurting ne1 and believe me its difficult.Esp for a person who is short tempered and gets hyper on little things.

Kamal, I know you will reading this and I know how u r feeling coz we r kind of sailing in the same boat..I respect ur opinion though.

Rupali and Jani Ive already spoken to u..and I count on u And both of u know my feelings for u.

Having said this, it will take some time for the old Nachiket to come back...did I hear a sigh of relief 😉

And finally I join back for my love for MD
Kamal this will make u smile definitely.

@Nachiket,
Well,let bygones be bygones...I know that we are dealing with real people..Hence I mentioned that there will be fights and misunderstandings..We are one big family and no matter how much ever we fight,there will still be a beautiful bond which will remain forever..Just like our family members..how much ever we get angry,we still love them unconditionally ..So I am glad you are back...and please don't talk about leaving the forum again..😊
