And even now, I am still staying away aside from reading the written updates.

I'm answering this post for now. Nazar briefly went into daily soap land post leap. Now it's ironed that out & gone into supernatural as before.

I find there is more shades to explore in evil creatures than in the good. Over its a fun show.

Reporters a 6 months show is everything you could ask for in an indian serial. And proves my point that saas bahus rule & sensible shows don't fare well. If u get a chance to watch it. u might like it.

I hope i wasn't imposing my views on you regarding Manmohini because watching or not is completely your choice.

Pity u don't have star plus we don't have BBC Entertainment either. Then there was this Israeli show Split.

I'm guessing u can't surf any of the unnoficial sites where they upload videos.

Mine isn't that glamorous. My grandparents are from Pakistan All my family are hindus. My mom & me are Christians.

How do u go researching these different cultures?

I wouldn't be surprised if you were an anthropologist.

πŸ‘§πŸ» Me my interest initially in Japan stemmed from the anime & manga side of things. Their culture is really fascinating. As a kid when my family moved to Germany i was cut off from my country. It was cold & lonely. Then i saw this anime Sailor Moon. That was good company for me.

Years back when i was dissatisfied with the condition of Itv. I looked world wide for entertainment suitable for me. I was hungering for a good story you see i didn't want a soap opera.

I first went to Pakistani dramas It was short they were modern they had good stories to tell. But it was only about family dramas. I wanted something lighter something wacky. To explore different emotions. And if i maybe honest not something conservative.

American shows. They have some good shows but then again too many seasons always ends on a cliffhanger. Romance is never satisfactory. They either have a problem with themselves or an ex pops up so they break up. All the characters something bad keeps happening to them. I couldn't relate to any of the characters etc

Then i went the telenovelas of different cultures including Filipinos. The leads had a good romance going they united early then the separation happened then it went full blown soap opera.

Then i found South Asians dramas & i felt right at home. There was freedom to explore different genres. It was strictly story based not soap opera. It was short. Most of the times the ending was satisfactory. I also enjoyed the romances there. There were no families involved. The forums were great too. Everyone enjoyed discussing what they liked what they didn't like analysing the characters. There was actual character growth shown etc

And that's my Story πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Wow! Awesome story! πŸ‘ I am happy that you finally found something which fits you! πŸ˜ƒ Yes, I do have a mixed heritage. My body is white, but my mind, heart and soul is Indian! 😊

As early as the age of 6 and possibly earlier, I had what seemed to be memories, recollections etc of past lives. I felt like something was there. At that age, I already knew that there were different countries in the world. As early as the age of 9, I believed that people 'come back after they die'. In other words, I believed in, and still do believe in, reincarnation. From the age of 10, I started reading books and watching shows about the different countries, cultures, languages and religions and for a few years, I went to school which children from different cultures. It was in that time I started slowly getting drawn towards India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka etc as if I was having a connection to that part of the world from past lives. In late 1991, soon after I turned I turned 13, I developed a full blown love and interest towards South Asia and it's culture and started taking on many Hindu beliefs. I also read a lot about the influence of India on other parts of Asia and how that influence is still evident to this day. A few years later with the advent of the Internet, I, like many across the world, gained more access to, and learn more about, the things which interest me.

You were not imposing your will at all! I feel so much better since staying clear of shows like Manmohini. And when I get the chance, I will surely watch Reporters on YouTube. There are a lot of shows still pending by me and look forward to seeing all of them! What was the Israeli show about?

Split was about a girl who was half vampire half human. And she was also a seer. And she went to Hogwarts kind of school.

Someone posted the English version of it on YouTube but it's restricted to my country. There's no way for me watch it.

Okay i know you're interested in Mo so i've got this synopsis from Zee 5 app

Siya ousts Gopika from the palace.

In today's episode Siya promises Ram that she will not take any action against Go until he returns. Go stops Mann from drinking Mallika's blood & instigates him against Siya. Later she deliberately slaps Mann & Siya ousts her from the palace.

Okay watched the episode. Siya still doesn't know about Mann. It will probably be tommorow.

Only the last 10 min of the episode was interesting. The before part was ok. The real action will be tommorow.

If u want i can give you a heads up.
