Seeing Mamta has become a kind of "Punishment" now.. Nothing that we want exists in the story track... We had appealed to the writers to never mess up with the Fabulous Jodi of Akshay-Mamta.. But that was broken.. Forget about their Jodi, now Akshay is at loggerheads with Mamta, and this is one thing we cannot digest for long..
The writers have successfully killed the beauty of the characters, their portrayal etc. First , it was Sid, who was asked to make a second entry into Mamta ans Arjun.. His return and the way they portrayed his character later, was just so bad. They killed the helpful, kind and fantastic nature that Sid had.. Made him look totally confusing, they even managed to give him grey shades for a while.. 😕Then came the Anamika Rhea thing that was dragged and dragged to such an extent that we really got pissed off..
The marriage of AM was an icing on the cake then. There were some really nice scenes shown between them.... This Jodi of AM has been the mainstay of this serial and the writers to this day, have not realised this simple fact.. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜Then came the chracter assasination of Akshay, with the possibility that he might have betrayed Mamta... For a person who has been closely following the character of Akshay, this was a major shock..
Then came the presumed death of Akshay.. This was a big torture for all Akshay fans.. To make matters worse , came the SM Marriage, which had not logical reasoning at all... ðŸ˜ðŸ˜Mamta was not even pushed to a corner and forced enough , that she had to marry Sid.. Mamta has always been shown as a strong character (who became a surrogate mother at the age of 19), but here, it was really pathetic to see the weaker side of Mamta..
Little instances in the serial like the Diya that was lit for Akshay no longer existed and then , the very next scene, they showed Akku getting back to life.. Mamta, who never accepted the fact that her hubby could have betrated her and gone on to marry Satya, so easily succumbed to the pressure, accepted Satya as the "Badi Bahu" of the family.. To her, Masuma was a "Farishta" who gave her life by getting her married to Sid.. These things happened so quickly that it was not convincing enough... ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
The character of Mamta has been butchered a lot, where nowadays, she is shown to be moving along fine with Sid.... This really does not go well with the plot , mainly bcos it was Mamta who loved Akshay a lot, and could do anything for him.. Within weeks , Mamta gets adjusted to her new life, she is now seeming to be happily settled with Sid, , forgetting all that happened with Akku in her life.. This looks very very strange.. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜To top it, scenes have been shown to depict how close SM are getting as every episode passed by.. This Mamta does not even feel guilty when she touches Sid and gets close to him.. Yes, if she considers him as just a friend, then should there not be a line drawn somewhere? The manner in which SM behave, looks like they have moved on, have successfully forgotten Akshay.. This is so unrealistic and totally has no logic at all... ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Can something be done with the script here? 😕
Yes, Mamta viewing has been a real punishment now. I would have stopped watching this long back if not for 2 reasons.. 😆😆
First, I just cant stop watching a serial of Anand's.. 😆😆The whole of IF knows it now. 😉
Secondly, I have to update this serial in the absence of Anju.. 😆😆
So these are the only 2 reasons that keep me glued to Mamta.. 😕
