He will unite them.. he loves mamta deeply, but since he knows that her heart only beats for akshay, he only wishes the best for her so he will unite them both... by doing this he will prove to mamta that he loves her.. she respects him for that but since she likes him as a guardian angel and akshay as a lover, of course she will choose akshay
