No one who have watched MK should miss yesterday epi. It was superlative in every sense. Whether technical., spiritual knowledge or what makes someone a true leader everything everything was there in the epi. In fact the epi in a capsule gave what MK stood for, or what the story was trying to tell its viewers. I was expecting a great post by Arshics today but it is not there, hence going and putting my analysis.
Anyone who watched the epi I think don't need explanation for the answers Rudra gave to Kripacharya hence I would delve into some other aspects of the epi
- I have always told there is no other power greater than love, no other liberation than feeling the true love and love used correctly without any selfishness yields the best results always. And Rudra when he said the thing whose depth cannot be measured is Mamta he was reiterating once again the power of love. Yes you cant measure love, it can only be felt. Reminds me of the tamil song yanna thavam cheythane Yasodha. meaning what penance did Yasodha do to get the Lord himself as her son. In front of her mamta the Lord is allowing her tie him to a ural, close his mouth and make him beg for release which even the great Gods Brahma and Indra couldn't do. In front of Arjun's trust and love the Lord comes as his charioteer to win the war for him. No power of Kauravas could withstand the love, trust and understanding the friends in Arjun and Krishna had. Yes love is the greatest power. To win a war sometimes you have to bow down a little, understanding in front of whom you have to bow.
- Kripacharya's dialogue on power. Love the most important power is what takes life forward. Love between husband and wife brings forth new life in this earth and love of people for each other sustains it. But the same power which is constructive becomes destructive when it is clouded by ego, selfishness. Instead of letting go in name of love people hold people, in name of love people are forced to do things which they don't want to do. Hence love the most constructive power becomes polluted and it becomes destructive. Instead of the mind controlling the power called love, love starts controlling the mind. Humanity needs Amrit every time is because if corrupt the power again and again with our own mistakes. Good people doesn't want to get into the murk and prefer to stay away from power.Result power is always in wrong hands. I guess every 144 years there will be proof what corrupted power can do and bring things to such a situation that people are forced to act as there is no other go. Every home will be affected by corrupted power which we see today. hence it is our duty to act in the right manner at the right time than bringing things to the extreme like lack of water on Earth.
- Quality of a leader. Kripacharya says if the choosen one among them gives wrong answer they all fall in the valley, also if anyone other than the choosen one answers then also they will fall in the valley. Rudra owns the accountability there as Garuda Pramukh with blessings from Shiva. He had the burden of protecting everyone and with his knowledge he does it elegantly. Lesson. Always follow a person with knowledge if you want security. At the crucial time it is knowledge that comes in handy not wealth or power. No one else can answer that means they have to completely trust the choosen one. In other words the leader's life is in team mates hand. So the leader has to ensure that whatever his actions are, at the crucial let them ensure that people see you as trustworthy. Rudra's going back to protect everyone associated with him has given his team a security that their leader will do best of his ability to protect all of them.
If you want to be a leader first have the right knowledge and then show the world the proof that you have the right knowledge through your actions so that the power is given to you and you don't have to snatch it from anyone.
I would love to conclude the analysis telling that MK is a show that should be watched after it ends to understand it better.

Shruti yesterday's episode was very good in every sense indeed. I went back and watched it four times just to get the true understanding of every line said. MK lost track in the middle, but now...as the show comes to an end it is back on track and I am so glad that I stuck it out. Nowhere else have I been able to see something so strong in knowledge, so well-explained, so well-written, so well-executed.

@Shreya I am not sure whether the story side tracked at any point except the fact that the crowd scenes and that wife slapping one which was out of place. Everyone felt it side tracked because of Maya. Both the girl and the script which ensured Rudra's actions doesn't seem logical. But the way things are going I am sure when the veil lifts, when illusion breaks the " Why" of that side tracking will be visible to us. They could have better executed it. Otherwise MK showed the journey of Rudra whom the destiny took brutally from his parents at a young age and at each stage gave him only losses only to learn from that loss and experience and stand in front of a Mahaguru yesterday and answer his questions confidently. GR was awesome yesterday, the calmness with which he gave the answers especially the second one where he connects his experience with the questions.
If you notice the Rudra yesterday he was not a hypocrite preaching theory, but a person who was saying what he practiced. When he say Mathrudevo bhava and Pitrodevo Bhava we know he is a man who has high regard of his parents. When he says you have to bring mind in your control, you see the man from an enraged emotional adult has risen to take the tall order to ful fill his duty. When he says wife is a husband's best friend, it is not a simple word but he treats his wife as one. Likewise every answer is something this man has practiced himself through his actions and that is exactly what makes him Garud Pramukh.

@Shreya...
I agree as it nears the end it's getting so much more interesting...we are now getting to see the real meaning of things, terme, relationships...etc...

Will miss the show...such shows are enlightening and teach us so many values of life that we realise are lost in this fast-paced world we live in now...where artificial, man-made things are given greater importance than values and relationships...
