Thanks Arshi for showing some positivity.
This is a unique muyho-drama and we have to expect lots of Sanjog. Like people walking in and walking out of Rudra's life.

My thumbs down remains. This is no way to build drama or create sansani or move a story forward.

I also said that I will watch today's episode. To see if Ganga and Punnu die. Shivanand doesn't need or care for validation or approval from his mother and she has lived her life.

My issues are related mostly to writing.

Why was Ganga brought in. The actress was so good. But was she given anything else but crying and nodding? What a waste. In telugu there is an expression called 'pot with a hole in the head' for a person who cries a lot. Well Ganga carries Ganga on her head.

This could have been done by Greyerson or Balivesh too. Remember how they killed kpp's family. And then, they are out of the picture.

The whole scene reminded me of Krishna watching the destruction of his own yadavas. But he was not passive and knew it was coming.

I found the writing and execution very wanting. Blah.

Nagas' head looked like a psycho of movies(have seen sonu sood n paresh rawal do this kind of re in telugu movies).

The only thing unique is he can slither like a snake.

He has faith, he has intuition but only problem is everything is directed towards Maya. His skills are not getting used where it should be.

His intuitiveness should have alerted him of Nagas. His crisis management should have been to put his near and dear ones to safety with Punnu and take guard along with Charles and Tiwari. Both would have supported him if he had asked.

Seconded. In any coming-of-age or bildungsroman genre, the hero is made to falter repeatedly, face hardships from time to time to mold him to become battle-ready when end game plays out. I have not dismissed his varied talents, he has them aplenty albeit untapped exactly due to the reasons stated above so lucidly by you (I am fan of your ways to come up with convincing conclusions) I have merely observed that he was in denial rather than purposefully staying calm like how a seasoned general is expected to behave which he so obviously is not...yet. I am waiting for that evolution to happen in the upcoming episodes. I am equating his serene calmness to false bravado rather than an informed decision made by him.
But all his leadership abilities he used to manage Maya the illusion and as you rightly said it was boring, tiring and I my blood boiled when he was sitting and talking to Maya who is in vegetative state and asking others to talk to her. 😡😡. That is what we call waste of talent.

Agree! Waste of talent indeed :( Just because she's named Maya, she is being made to torture both Rudra, and the audience alike. 😡
Hope the brutal murders make him realize his true destiny and he stops whining like a baby in front of Maya.

😃
I had enough of Maya kadan.

Oh yes, Prithee.

@Arshics loved the way you described each Garud. Yes each of them is lost in their own world. And taking care of Maya, not wanting Maya to go I guess Veritasarum gave the right explanation of it. We all love to live in denial without waking upto reality. We love to pamper the illusion to the hilt than see the reality around us.
Reason illusion is always alluring, it is always beautiful whereas reality maybe harsh. And the world simply love to gloss over the illusion and bury the dark realities under the carpet.
We always talk about our glorious culture and when the documentary " India's daughter " came out we didn't want people to see it. Why. Because we didn't want the illusion of our culture ripped apart by the gory commentary by the rapist and the lawyers. Reality was staring at us, but we don't want to take action. We just love to gloss over things.

Hehe. As if logic is still around. We never looked for logic anyways. Arshi likes this guy so will not say anything. I already said a lot.

Oye, I said his entry and muh-dikhayee was funny. Never about the actor. It was about the character.

I think Utkarsh ji is a huge fan of ASOIAF series (from his tweets). The author of that series prides himself in being unpredictable and ruthless in killing off his characters who the readers have begun to root for, to emerge as victors by the end of the series. This keeps happening from time and again. For example, in book one, once the good and the evil characters are introduced, the good king is mercilessly beheaded by the viciously evil king in front of his daughter on account of treason. This comes as a HUGE shock to the readers as they (I) have formed a connection with that character that they feel devastated and search for the next one to win eventually but they harbor this sense of fear because the writer may easily dispose off that character in the upcoming sequels. I am not peeved by the bloodshed on this show, but I have a problem with how they show Prayag as a totally lawless city.

I didn't quite find the time to reply to your post the other day regarding the romance element on the show. I think that's not UN's strong forte. I have watched Saraswatichandra from the beginning till September '13 (I quit since there was no sign of Pramad dying, and the melodrama was too much to bear. Even the lead chemistry couldn't lure me back! They are still one of my all-time favorite couples though). He wrote some of the dull and boring romantic episodes in June ( when did Gujaratis start celebrating Karwachauth?) but made up for it by writing the most beautifully tragic and riveting scenes in July & August. (He brought out the essence of Saras and Kumud during that time period) till he left when the new production house took over. He has also written some of the best episodes of DKDM. I am thinking he leans so much towards tragedy and thriller. That's his way of storytelling.

You guys should give Rahil a chance. He is a good actor and yes, he was to play Pramad in Saraswatichandra. 😊
