Awesome post Arshi!

Today indeed the nagas looked like a well coordinated commando team. Chilling performance by the head naga. The garuds are clueless though Shiva was restless during the yagna.

Yet and yet again Shiva went on saying that they have a bigger battle to fight but no one believed him.
Is Rudra going to open his mind now?

What a recap, the head naga killing daadi. I so want Daadi to live so that she can understand Shiva at last.

Are there no policemen around ? What about the Prof. and DM Tiwari? After Maya's poisoning too they did not guard Shiva's family. Huge questions, did no one really think of it?

@ appukrish - It was indeed sad to see Rudra so lost in Maya that he did not even sense the danger to his close ones.

Good point you have made that inspite of Maya's attack DM and Shiva did not worry about danger to the family. We have already seen that this a law and order less city. KKP and whole family killed, Animesh killed, Maimui killed and today took it to another level.

Reg. Rudra, I felt as if he let the family down, which he will realise soon. He became so lost in Maya that the world around him ceased to exist. Pyar mein aisa hota hoga but I was disappointed. The makers have made it to show that Maya is the real ardhaangini and she will only stay till the end. The rest became jhooti Maya and she is made the only sacchai.

Don't know what to make of today's episode. If the nagas are after shivanand's book, then surely even greyson is in danger too since he has the other part. I'm wondering when Katherine will stab her fellow Garuds in the back, she's very attentive, will she melt and soften before knowing her real purpose.

Nagas are more dangerous than nanu and bailvesh and greyson put together, don't think they realise what they are actually getting into, they are out of their depth.

Saw the episode.
Sorry if am offending any one, but I found the head of Nagas -- his entry (muh dikhayi) funny. I mean he looked funny.

And the gruesome killing of Ganga. No it's not a dream. Just hope she survives.

Itna sanjog?the garudas escaped or were removed from the battle field so easily. Mai,charles and Katherine sent to Rudra. Tiwari excuses himself right away and Shivanand is sent for yagya. And the meek and so-called 'dispensables' are left behind. Dadi was marshaling her troops but it looked so unnatural.

Rudra definitely needs a Jhatka to realize. And this Jhatka is in line with the story. But killing Ganga so soon?

The nagas looked like terrorists more than villains or anti-heroes. Apart from blue eyes, they don't have any characteristics. They want to have amrit but have no clue and rely on book. Not convincing.

And last but not the least if this is dubbed as moh for Maya, that's unfortunate. I do not think Utkarsh and Co will hint at that. Maya's poisoning caught Rudra by surprise as it did to everyone. And Shivanand who knew most about Nagas did not share it with his family. He didnt get a chance. But he lamented to Tiwari. When DM is on their side, he could have done something.

Well, this show runs a lot on sanjog like any mythological thriller does. People like long-lost mother or Nagas head just walk in and walk out. A van with name shav vahan in mahakumbh?

And though , the get up of nagas was too contemporary for my taste , they looked like black cat commandos to me , i found the episode very gripping . And a word of appreciation for the interpretation of black ,white and red colours by Arshi , it was superb

Thank you dear, Annu, and I loved your comment of ' agreeing with me for a change'

The nagas with their tashan and fancy weapons worked for me, because even the rakshaks are 'modern'. In a contemporary setting that's what evil looks like...

The rakshaks are modern too, but as of now they are all harrum scarrum, in contrast to the nagas who are organized and armed - making them very dangerous.

Liked the episode. Liked the Nagas entry and liked the Naga head more. Rahil Azam a very good opponent for GR I think. By now we are used to this open killing in this law and order less city. Nagas are very Hi tech. Akhir kaun hoga inka guru.

I think what saddened me was that Rudra did not get any premonitions about Ganga's killing or tomorrow Daadi's. Maybe now he will understand what Shivanand meant when he said he needs to rise above all this Maya ( today it is more the girl than the broader meaning of it).

On the one side Maha Mrutyunjay yagna to save one, but losing others at the same time. So this Maha Mrutyunjay yagna being done is person specific? It is being done for Maya's long life, but will it help save Ganga and Daadi too? Though it looked like Ganga was dead. I feel maybe Daadi will survive but not Sure about Ganga. And poor Punnu...

This big a Jhatka was needed for Rudra to come out his Mayajaal.

So Maya is saved but I hope she will be in coma for the rest of the season. In the meantime Prof will find a cure for the poison which will also help for future Naga attacks.

why did Rudra not get a premonition?

There could be 2 reasons for it : one of course he was too trapped in maya jaal

The second could be that he doesn't have that soul connect with Dadi and ma, that he has with maimui and Maya!

The Maha mrityunjaya was being done for Maya, and so I guess it was person specific. And it did not ward off death.

One thing that has been bothering me - the nagas know Rudra, shiva, the book... Again - who controls them? Isn't the identity of the rakshaks supposed to be a secret? Has Shiva's research into amrit and all too obvious attempts to look for it, drawn the attention of the nagas to him and his family?

I guess this will break Rudra out of his moh Maya ka bandhan and launch him into Rakshak mode.

The Garudas are clueless, and unprepared for the battle that has already begun.

They are strong but the nagas are armed, they are yet to realise their collective strenght, the nagas are organized as a team, and what more, they are all full of love and kindness, the nagas are ruthless and kill in a blink!

Rahil as naga leader was impressive - it will go to see him pitted against gAuti as Rudra - another great choice by AB!

Do you think any policemen will be effective against nagas ? This is bordering on supernatural domain, so obviously will be fought in the supernatural realm!

But yes, it seems very unreal that no one even worries about so many dead bodies and gruesome murders that have been happening with such regularity. That I think is one flaw that has been in the show since the begining, the complete absence of any concern or action from law enforcement agencies - logic Maiyya in yoganidra!

🤗, thanks.

I loved the episode, it switched to its main track of battle for amrit and the nagas worked for me - the slick black villains with handsome Rahil as their leader - 👍🏼

How much do the Nagas know about the Rakshaks is yet to be seen. They know about Rudra I think, because since he was a child everyone knew he was special, especially the bad guys. Right now what it looks like is the Nagas want Shivanand for the book (his research did attract people from far and wide). They think they can get the Amrit by following the book.

Our Rakshaks right now are in complete disarray. Rudra doesn't even know the rest except Shiva. TMai may not know what that tattoo on her leg is. The advantage these guys have is their distinct powers and they are specially sent by nature/God. Whereas the Nagas are just kal yug ke humans trained to the T, use latest weapons, and just follow instructions of whoever their leader is.

Where Shivanand went wrong is getting sidelined by Maya's poisoning. He should have become alert when he realized that Nagas must have arrived at the MK.

The Nagas could have just kidnapped Shivanand, why kill everyone to get to him. Maybe they think this will make Shivanand and Rudra give up the mission. Ulta they will rouse all the sleeping tigers now.
