Also in interviews both SRJ and Pooja said that initially they were hesitant in taking up these roles but Mr. Tewary had managed to convince them and made them to accept their offer .

Even in an article Sourabh told that it was a hardest decision he had taken .

So it's obvious that both Pooja and SRJ accepted out of the trust and confidence they had in the director of their previous show Mahabharat .

So now it's in Siddharth Kumar Tewary's hands to not let them down !

See for the moral values and story they are just proceeding on the books written on them they folklore anth mein ua kya kya nhi yeh toh swayam tridev hi jaane...

but i really like how they are depicted i never condemned because i took it as that they were showing respect but in Devon ke dev mahadev too they have given equal screen space to vishnu when daksh had asked him to use sudarshan it was given importance...

I accidently got to see this show i had saw a picture Sourabh as Mahadev and i was sourabh where he is acted he is just only shown as krishna and shri hari vishnu then one day i was watching vighanharta ganesh and i saw the glimpse of mahakali and find it amazing so, i download and watch it... amazing show merko bhut kuch sikha jaata hai...

I cried i laughed i felt the pain of mahadev i felt every emotion...

I was connected I had always thought of sourabh he was protraying krishna and can he play or break the image as he has a charming and attractive voice his voice contains a moh vaali feel and krishna he looks charming. So, when i saw him in anand tandav there he break it completely

If i saw mahadev i saw if mahadev look like he must be like him bewitching voice, charming face yet intense thought and expression...

YES I'm aware of how in almost every mytho shows they have this habit of showing the leads more powerful and also how they tarnish other Divine characters to make the leads look more impressive . But I don't think that following such criteria would bring good them trps .

Because when it comes to audiences apart from fans of the actors playing in the shows and apart from devotees of lead God/Goddess of the show , other people (who could be ardent devotees of other Gods) too watch the show . So by degrading other Gods or Goddesses in order to highlight the leads would only bring a bitter taste to people's mouth and after sometime they get fed up and stop watching 🥱 .

This is what happened to me with DKDM 😔 Though I'm not a Shiv-bakth I started watching as I had a huge respect and a unique admiration for him and Goddess Parvati ❤️ . But after sometime I got annoyed over how they went onto glorify Lord Shiva at the expense of Vishnu and Brahmaji !!! They didn't leave Ma Lakshmi either !!! I totally lost interest and stopped watching the show 🥱

All thanks to the great infamous Utkarsh Naithini 👏

They shall at least TRY and think of some ways of highlighting the greatness of the lead character without affecting other characters . That way they don't loose the viewers 👍🏼

As I already mentioned before , "Since the show is centered on MahaKaali they must keep their focus only on Mata Kaali / Parvati and Shivji and stop making joke out of other tridevs / tridevis ".

And yes I agree with you about Sourabh ❤️ 😊 . I've never seen such a blessed versatile actor 😊 As an acting student I've learnt a lot from him 😳 . He just don't even need dialogues as he brilliantly conveys everything through his face especially his expressive eyes. Even the tone of his voice changes according to quality of the scene and dialogue.

He proved that he's not only a phenomenal actor but also a good dancer as well 😊 .

So far in this serial my most favourite performances of Sourabh (apart from tandav sequences) has to be the one in which he lies down on Kali ma's path to pacify her and waits for her to place her foot on him and then opens his eyes and makes an eye-contact with her. That was just outstanding 👏 Not only him , even Pooja was great in that scene 👏 And my other favourite performance from him has to be Unmat Bhairav😃 He truly did a commendable job 👍🏼 👏 .

My mom who is a staunch and an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva since her childhood had totally fell in love with Mohit's performance as Shiv in DKDM . She used to watch that show day and night 😆 .

And now she's loving SRJ too as Shiv 😳
