i agree they edited krishna saar all through previous rerun. Abhi to 6:30 is a time where no new shows are going to come why not telecast without cuts

well there would have been some discussion among vikarna n dury after dyut sabha. Dury was quite egoistic though wonder if he would have let go the opposition so easily

I said this because neither Dury nor Dushy say a word to Vikarna when he was making the point.

It was only Karna who scolded him and put him off before ordering Dusshashan for disrobing (so much of caste discrimination the poor guy faced to have been able to scold n order princes in court)

Dury might have been egoist for the external world but his brothers were his life, he would have never held it against Vikarna going by his characterization. But he would definitely have been angry. And Vikarna too definitely loved Duryodhan, he would have definitely tried to reach out to him.

So my thought about the scene

@mages there is one scene in murli manohar song where krishna arjun are ploughing the field. Its a beautiful scene. they looked like two school kids carrying their bag and walking to school without a worry in the world. You should GIF that too. I had 6 yrs back but IDK where i stored it

i think karna reacted before they said anything. or maybe dury did give his brothers right to have their own opinion. thats why he dint react. And he knew his brother better n his thought process so he was not surprised maybe

@Bold I thought the same and hence came up with the idea that when Vikarna approaches them at night, Dury is affectionate towards him stating that Karna has already scolded him as an elder brother.

Reading the epic, I genuinely feel that Karna was like an elder brother to younger Kauravas including Dusshashan. They respected him and stood for him as he approached.

The second point which you made seems more logical now. He knew about Vikarna's thought process so knew that Vikarna would respond this way so kept calm not willing to fight him in public, aside he didn't stop Karna because he probably felt it was between Karna Vikarna with Karna having the right to scold him, and hence he shouldn't intervene.

Anyway I am sure they would have at least once discussed it later and I think that would have been a cute n affectionate scene
