Thank you🤗

Regarding today's episode what do you guys think should Bhishm have broken his vow and married Amba

In my opinion he should have broken the vow since his father was now dead and even satyavati didn't have to worry about bhism's kids becoming the heir of the throne because of pandu and drithrashtra , the vow didn't make as much sense as before but amba had become subjected to a Life of sufferings.

What do you guys think?

Hey 😃 Bheeshma wouldn't have broken his vow he's Bheeshma after all!

Regarding Amba I do blame him but some blame is to be pinned on salva too.

Bheeshma - he had no business going to swayamvara, he wasn't invited... He could have had his brother's arranged marriage with any other kingdom

Salva- he literally downgraded Amba after she came back poor girl.

I agree with Sans di, Bheeshma should not have gone to Kashi at all. But then, it was his life and his choices that effected the future in this way.

Amba was just an unfortunate pawn in the hands of fate. She just fell in the middle of the ego battle of two powerful men. 🤢

And then lost everything due to their battle.

I too feel the same. If Bheeshma had made different choices story would have been different. Why Bheeshma forced kashi rajkumaris and then ghandhar rajkumari? But then, I don't know if that had happened actually or it is scripted in the show since Bheeshma is always considered as dharma follower.

Watched the episode today. God I used to love Gandhari and Shakuni's bond in the initial phase. Shakuni genuinely was worried about his sister and her future..for a person so heartless, he only cared about his sister and held a special place for her which I felt was beautiful. However his genuine care started turning into cruel intentions. On one hand I do feel that some how circumstances was kinda responsible for Shakuni's hatred towards Hastinapur however it's a fact that he was an inconsiderate adharmi person.. he was clever, and he used it all on his so called revenge plan and sadly he did succeed. He destroyed Kuruvansh. He made blood betray blood. And even thou Padavs won the war but at what cost? They lost everything else including their own children. So Shakuni did destroy hasntinapur and sadly left it to ruins. 🥱

Bheeshma didn't force them. He participated and won the Swaymbhar but instead of marrying the princesses he asked them to marry his brother. I will always dislike him for this reason (after his silence on dyuth saba). He treated the princesses as a posession. Swaymbhar is held for prince proving worthy of the princess to marry them but he treated the princess as his won posession that he gave away to his brother. I don't know how that can counted as fair 😳 thus, Amba's anger and her curse.

Again regarding Gandhari, he just went with the proposal. He never forced the Gandhars to marry their daughter. At least not verbally. They were compelled to marry off their daughter because Hastinapur was a bigger kingdom and they were scared. However this is common thing that used to happen back then. It's like all fair in love and war kinda thing.

Bheesma was a dharma follower but he did make mistakes. Wasn't treating woman as Possession a mistake? Wasn't staying silent when his daughter in law was humiliated a mistake? An act of adharm? We can't call him a dharmi. Yes he was a dharma follower but he made mistakes too. Maybe that's why he had such a sad death where he had to see his family kill each other and the empire he help built crumble down.
