Panchali got up folded her hands and took leave. She walked past Arjun who moved away and stood silently. He could sense how agitated his wife is at the moment. Years passed but still the memories of that fateful evening succeeds in leaving its devastating mark on their hearts. It takes a toll on Panchali especially and won't let her overcome her emotions and gruesome memories. He remembered how shattered she was when Ulupi took her back to her past.

Arjun went inside and saw Kunti sit with a sad face . The lines on her forehead and the tears in her eyes revealed her state of mind. She looked at her third son with guilt filled eyes. " She did not forgive me,neither did she accept my reasoning,I remain her offender forever. " Kunti uttered the words as if she is telling herself.

Arjun approached her and sat on the couch. He took her hand and assured." Don't think like that. Your daughter in law never behave so. She won't nourish any ill feelings towards you. "

Kunti kept her head on his shoulder and wiped her tears. She smiled at him and said." I know she won't hate me but she did not try to understand me.Lifelong I have to live with this truth."

Arjun nodded his head and admitted." You are not at fault. I am her offender. I won her but failed to stand by her. Now don't be too harsh to yourself . Nothing is in our hands . Our fate will dictate the happenings in our life. Be peaceful. Krishnaa has immense respect for you."

Arjun went to dining hall but could not find her. Subhadra is looking after serving the King and his brothers. Uttara is helping her while Chitra came to Arjun and enquired." What happened ? Your queen looked unwell. She said she got severe headache. " Arjun did not answer. As he went to wash his hands Ulupi handed over the towel and whispered." Old wounds got ruptured. It is not easy to heal them by applying Lep. You need to tend them with utmost care that too without delay."

Arjun stared into her magical eyes. The Naga princess kept powers intact. He smiled and nodded .

The moonlit night and the cool breeze together soothened Arjun's heart. What must be his Madhav doing now. May be Satya took him to enjoy the full moon nite. He appreciated Satya for the first time ever.She really inspires Madhav with her ever brimming energy. Even his fire born wife enjoyed her company so much.The moments spent with them won't come back.

Malini opened the door and informed." Princess slept already. She had severe headache. Arjun went inside and sat beside her . Panchali is in deep sleep. Her brow indicates her uneasiness. Arjun kept his head on her heart and stammered" Forgive me Krishnaa."

Ulupi said right it should tend

with out delay.

and I am glad that Drupadi did't forgave kunti

yes kunti is her offender

because her reasoning is very baseless and illogical

Panchali opened her eyes and found him nearer to her heart. Yes he is in her heart but that does not take away the pain,anger,frustration and heartbreak caused by the decision that was thrust upon her by her mother in law in the name of protection of Pandava unity. The wound that always made its presence felt got ruptured by Kunti'. In her anxiety to get rid of her guilt feeling her mother in law hurt her severely .

Now her husband is here as usual with his sad yet charming face with his mantra " Forgive me Krishnaa. But Yajnaseni is not in a mood to oblige as is her habit. She took his head in her delicate hands and carefully placed it on the pillow. She then walked towards the window that shows the glimpse of the sleeping Royal garden and the royal palaces on the other side of the lake. Hastinapur is sleeping peacefully uneffected by the incidents that happened in her life.

Arjun gazed at his wife whose back only is facing him but he could very well imagine the suppressed fury in her lotus eyes, the tear drops that made her cheeks wet and her beautiful red lips parted to say her heartfelt feelings.He is seeing his wife in fire true to her birth.

Suddenly he got a smile on his face.years passed but his wife never ceases to test his charm. He has to be his best to make her smile again. Like every time he is ready for the challenge.

Arjun approached her and turned her towards him.Panchali tried to protest.He did not allow her. He rounded up her shoulders and walked towards the couch. Panchali got frustrated and said." Arjun please don't try to talk about that topic. I am in no mood to defend myself or get convinced by you yet again. I don't think I will have that patience. I will arrange your couch. Relax and don't stress yourself"

Arjun understood the gravity of the situation. He thought for a while . He should help her express argue fight or quarrel with him . Otherwise her suppressed emotions will harm her.They will not let her be at peace with herself.He felt the smiling face of his Madhav before him. " Parth go ahead. I think this will be a memorable reunion for you both" Arjun smiled at his friend's teasing words.His Madhav won't change.

Panchali saw the smile on his face and got angry.She blasted him " Arjun it may be a laughing matter for you but not for me. You may sympathise with your mother for whatever be the reason.You may even get angry with me for not responding positively before your mother.But I can't help it. "

Arjun sighed with relief." Yes She is expressing finally. Now he has to keep the fire burning. " He looked at her seriously and questioned." You know she may leave with Gandhari Mata. You should have said your words in a soothing manner. " Arjun observed her frown having said those words.

Panchali confronted him" so what should I say? That really I looked at your brothers to know about my prospective husbands? Great! Arjun I thought you atleast understand how she hurt me by saying so. No you are more concerned about your mother's pain. But not about your wife's feelings. Or you also must have thought I am interested in...Panchali could not complete her line Arjun pulled her to him and goaded her " What else is there just say it I won't feel bad."

Panchali taunted him" Why do you feel bad? It is me who is at the receiving end. You always held your mother and brothers in high esteem. Who is Panchali? She is the reward shared with your brothers. Now another fact I understood it is Panchali who is criticised for accepting polyandry out of interest. If your mother says that and you endorse her view who would believe poor Panchali?

Arjun caught her shoulder forcefully and asked," What else you want to say? I am listening."

Panchali tried to free herself invain. Arjun 's heart melted towards his Krishnaa. He knew his mother hurt her in her anxiety to get herself freed from guilt. But what fault is there with his wife? Loving him and him only with her whole heart? Though she has no role in getting five husbands for herself she only is made responsible.Arjun hugged her tightly and whispered in his husky voice.

" Please forgive mother for saying so. I know how hurt you are. Yajnaseni's eyes are like lotuses. They are for the sake of her Arjun only but no one else. Don't I know the truth? Those eyes that make me feel proud for being their object of love and desire,those eyes that haunted me ever since I entered the swayamvara mandap,those eyes that showered immense love for me even though I brought Subhadra home,those eyes that proved Arjun is the most blessed person to get Krishnaa's love ...Arjun paused.

but don't make her forgive kunti

just because she is mother of arjun

kunti does't deserve it for sure not after

she blamed darupadi to be interested in other 4 pandavs

Panchali sensed his feelings ,his concern for her but unable to respond to his plea She questioned him point blank." Who am I to forgive maharani Kunti? She is totally in a different space altogether. Arjun I know she is your mother. So it is difficult for you to understand my anguish and pain which straight away connect to her decision on that fateful evening. I don't expect impossible to become possible. You are her devoted son first then my husband.So it is natural for you to empathise with her. But please don't ask me to deceive myself and say whatever happened was for my benefit only. Yajnaseni never wished to sit on the throne.She was made to look like a woman of power very much capable to handle everything."

Arjun nodded his head and admitted." I know it. I can understand. I never doubted you . I may tease you sometimes to make you stress free and open up but I never meant to hurt you,.Pardon me and come out from those suffocating memories.Mata wanted an assurance that her decision did not effect you if you consider the larger picture.You became the queen of Eldest and helped him establish an empire of dharma. You served Bhrata Bheem and literally spent most of the time in the kitchen to learn and satisfy his food habits. You are almost a mother to Nakul and Sahadev in showering affection.And you became my lifeline and motivation. "

Panchali told him straightly." Yes I did my job perfectly. But to do so Panchali the woman has to suppress her core identity that is of your wife. Every minute she has to fight with her conscience which never allowed her to forget that fact. The struggle went on and will go on till my last breath. Still people,will find Draupadi only as the queen your mother wanted her to become.I have to pity myself . One who was the cause for my situation derives satisfaction in claiming that I wanted to have five husbands.Irony of life."

Arjun has no answer to her. He knew her every word is a fact.He remembered his Madhav's words." Love can heal every wound . No need of an antidote.Just express your love with sincerity and honesty. It will work wonders."

Arjun left her and walked towards the window. The third quarter of the night is announced by the ringing bells. The security guards changed positions and moved to their new places. The gentle breeze blowing from Yamuna waters caressed him and his Krishnaa with love. Arjun side glanced his. Wife who looked immersed inthoughts. He then started in a low voice." Never did I feel that helpless and useless like I did that night. Only exception is the night of Abhi's death."

Panchali raised her head and waited to hear more.Arjun continued." I never told you before. I never wanted to tell. But before our journey on this earth comes to an end I want to disclose my heart. I went to the army camp and stationed there.I was restless I was tensed up. That night I left my wife to sacrifice herself to my Eldest without remorse. I have to follow my mother and brother's command.

But my whole body and soul just rebelled against me and refused to let me be myself. I thought I will succumb to my heart's call. I will protest against the decision of my elders. That moment I took a decision to move away to avoid my conflict of emotions.Yes I broke the vow intentionally because I love you Krishnaa

Arjun walked back to Draupadi and took her face in his hands." You are not the lone sufferer. Your Arjun is with you in your pain and struggle. We both fought together and lived with heart break. But we kept the light of our love illuminate our souls irrespective of whether we are together or not.We won the war against destiny. What more do you want? Others may not acknowledge our love and pain. It makes no difference. The fact remains intact.Panchali loved Arjun so much. But Arjun loved her more. "

Draupadi pushed him away. She knew her ever victorious husband again won the war. But the defeat as always brought her relief,contentment and a smile on her face. Arjun looked at her mesmerised. " Did we travel back to the day I won the contest? Are you my new bride? " He asked and bent forward to experience the bliss of her unparalleled love for him.

After a while arjun got up and walked towards the window, the moon light is so soothing and rejuvenated his spirits.As much as he try to look unaffected he is stressed up especially due to his mother's decision to go on exile and her futile attempt to win Panchali's forgiveness, He knew she is expecting too much that is not possible, Panchali's ruptured heart would never accept her explanation for her sharing. In her heart of hearts Kunti also knew that still she tried her best. Arjun knew KUNTI loved her the most though she never expressed herself, Still What she said is not tolerable It is the harshest thing any one can say That she is interested in all the five even he felt bad hearing it from his mother, Many thought similarly his wives included but his mother?

Arjun looked back at his wife who slept peacefully in his arms. Whatever disturbance or turmoil happened his Krishnaa always proved her love for him.She reconciled and became ready yet again to let it go. She would as usual suppress her hurt and send his mother off with a smiling face.

Hastinapur got the news that the old king is leaving with his wife Gandhari, KUNTI and Vidur.They have mixed feelings. On one hand they blame him for the loss of their Kith and kin and on the other hand they feel pity towards his plight. They knew pandavas are more than respectable affectionate and caring.But they understood the king needs to do prayaschit for his wrong doings for not restricting his son and for not allowing the most wretched deed draupadi's disrobing that left a red mark in the history of kuruclan.

Parikshit ran around the royal kitchen followed by Subhadra and Uttara.The boy is eleven years old and looked exactly more like Arjun and less like Abhi. The reason is his dark complexion.He has to go to his instruction classes on Vedas and sastras. He tries to skip them and run to learn archery from his grand father. Subhadra becomes furious and scolds Arjun " Don't make him obsessed with bow. I don't want anotherAbhi in the making"she said bitterly.

Arjun became serious.He said softly " Not every one will have the good fortune to scale the heights reached by Abhi. Subhadra feel proud to be his mother. No other mother is as fortunate as you are.learn to cherish your motherhood which is the envy of other women.Abhimanyu is a boon to us.Blessing of god's.Parikshit has great task ahead He has to live up to his father"s reputation that is not easy.

Subhadra got tears in her eyes .She retorted sharply " No one should have my great fortune that got meseparated from my son I lived with Abhi for seventeen years.I did not bother when you went onexile because of Abhi. Then one evening I have to face the bitter truth that my son is no more.Yes he is the pride of Kurus. But he is the heart break of his mother. All this happened because of his over enthusiasm to prove himself worthy of his father. He left me in wilderness. I don't want to see history repeated. Parikshit should live a long life."

KUNTI and Gandhari assembled the bahus one evening on the terrace of the royal palace.They both officially confirmed their decision to leave. Bhanumurti;s face became pale. She lost everything in war. Now she is finding solace only in serving her in law's. But now with them going she felt devastated.

Panchali felt pity towards her. Destiny played with her and robbed her of every joy. Had she wedded Arjun...Yajnaseni could not think further.

Gandhari addressed the bahus and blessed them. She asked them to stay united and keep up the glory of Kurus. She mainly asked them to cooperate with Draupadi's in every way.' She will take care of you all.always be with her in every crucial moment."

KUNTI blessed her bahus wholeheartedly.She called them one by one. Subhadra her dearest niece got the opportunity first.kunti hugged her closely and said." I am grateful to you for offering Parikshit to Kuru throne. Without you Kuruvamsh would have gone into oblivion."

Then she thanked the other wives like Devika Jalandhara Vijaya Karenu for bearing with separation from their husbands due to dice game.

KUNTI specially thanked Ulupi for paving the way to Arjun;s successor. If not for you Phalgun would never have obliged to marry others. You are the one who convinced him ." She could not help look at Panchali while saying so. But Yajnaseni remained detached calm and composed.

KUNTI blessed Chitra : we are proud to have you in Kuruvamsh. May Babhru embellish the glory of his father.I appreciate you for your boldness . You groomed Babhru singlehandedly.My blessings Chitra"

Finally she called Draupadi .She then gave her a magnificent diamond bracelet . Everyone knew KUNTI never wore any ornaments except one gold chain with three three steps.and this bracelet that won every bahu;s heart.They are impatiently waiting to hear KUNTI;s words.

KUNTI fondly touched the bracelet and started her speech
