The beauty of Himalayas always mesmerised Arjun to the extent of wishing desparately to renounce everything and stay there for ever. There are small pools and lakes on both sides of the path and migrating birds settled on the surface of the water that crystallised due to the low temperature levels.

He saw ducks,cranes and kingfishers and many varieties which he found welcomed him with squeeking sounds.The mountain squirrels are black,orange and gold in colour and are rubbing their backs against the barks of trees performing acrobatics on the tree branches.

The butterflies are roaming around sankha Pushpa flowers it was the Pradosh on the great Himalayas their last stop before they reach the place where they have to search for treasure.

They camped there as sooner than usual time night fall will happen. Ved Vyas lighted up the sacrificial fire with great difficulty in that chilled weather.

Slowly the mantras chanted together by all the desciples filled the atmosphere with sanctity and purity . Arjun felt that the sounds are driving away the evil spirits and super natural elements into oblivion.

He made a Shiv Ling with ice and kept it on a wooden flank. The moment he did so it would be crest fallen challenging his ability and commitment.Ved Vyas would smile at him and say" Take my bronze Shiv ling and do Abhishek" But Arjun being Arjun won't relent.

Yudhishtir told Ved Vyas" Once if he fixes his mind on any thing he won't retreat be it battle field or other wise. He is stubborn to that extent."

Arjun again took the broken ice into his hands and pressed it with force. His fingers are now becoming stiff but he did not care. He closed his eyes and felt the three eyed Lord before him." Tall,extremely well built,golden fair ,the matted locks falling on shoulders the crescent moon showering nectar,Vasuki round his neck, Arjun did not want to open his eyes.The benevolent smile appeared on his face,Mahadev raised his hand.in blessing Sahadev shook Arjun's shoulders." Bhrata Shiv ling was made. Do Abhishek." The vision disappeared.Arjun opened his eyes and found the Shivling with ice stand perfectly in its place. He had tears in his eyes. His Shiv Shankar never lets him down.

The Abhishek went on with Ved Vyas joining Arjun chanting Rudr mantras.Arjun felt gratified. He is sure now that their mission will become successful. After the dinner he told Ved Vyas" I wish I would stay back here till I merge into the supreme soul.Life becomes tedious once I step down from these Himslayan ranges. I would request Madhav if I can do this one day"

Vyasa replied with a mischievous smile." One day Narayan will call Nar to the highest place.That won't happen before the scheduled time. You still have so much to accomplish.Balancing the creation is the purpose for which Krishna came to this world along with you. Until then you should move ahead without blinking eyes.I see Shankar Shiv's blessing already on you. What more do you want Arjun? Now take rest.Tomortow we will reach the treasure spot."

Arjun sat beside her and took her hand in his. Panchali's drowsiness gone for a toss,she felt embarrassed being that nearer to Arjun. Her father is staying upstairs,she has a difficult task now not to make him sense her displeasure towards Arjun.

Draupadi asked Arjun." Wont you go to Subhadra? She must be waiting for you. Already it is late."

Arjun looked deeply into her eyes and said." I told Subhadra I will stay here. She won't wait for me."

Panchali did not know what to say. He came equipped with every answer to her questions. She stood up and said." I will tell Malini to arrange the bed for you . You look tired. You can take rest properly."

Arjun stood before her and asked straightly." Why are you running away from me? You don't have confidence in me it seems."

Panchali stared at him. What is he upto? Why is he testing her by being before her at this night time ? He knew her love,her reality.He may take advantage of that and...

Arjun pulled her in his arms and made her look at him by taking her face nearer and nearer. He slowly started in his manly voice." Don't trouble yourself with all those thoughts. I know what is going on in your mind. I also know with my multiple marriages I lost your good will and confidence But I want you to get it into your mind. Arjun loves his Krishnaa irrespective of whomever he marries. He will never give her place to any one else. Arjun pleads with Krishnaa to forgive him but he will never persuade her against her wish.Got it Yajnaseni? "

Draupadi could not blink her eyes. Did she hurt him severely? Should she say sorry? "

Arjun smiled at her and taunted." I am waiting here to hear the golden words."

Finally the destination was reached.As for Veda Vyasa's word that is the place where the treasure was kept by the Brahmins.

As it is mandatory the worship of Ganesh,Abhishek of Shiv Sankar was done followed by a puja to Kubera the Lord of wealth.Then the Rishi chanted mantras to all the lords of quarters and Indra the Lord of heaven. After that the land was worshipped and requested permission to dig the surface. As if the gods showered blessings light drizzle happened much to the delight of every one.

But suddenly shrieking sounds were heard all around. The Pramathas and super elements made their presence felt. Arjun addressed them and requested them to oblige. When the sounds still could not subside he took his Gandiv.

Arjun shot the Astra that will crate illusion and make them stupefied. He became successful in making them go into trance. The illusion will keep them motionless till their work got finished.

Ved Vyas looked at Arjun with delight." Well done Arjun. You did just the right thing." He praised.

Yudhishtir took the lance and started the digging process. Arjun and Sahadev then asked him to relax and continued with their efforts along with the experts in such work.

By mid afternoon the first positive sounds were heard. The vessels became visible in all sizes.

Arjun bent down and uncovered them. The glittering gems and jewels dazzled his eyes and he smiled back at his Eldest." Your Aswamedha is done Eldest!" He said beaming with excitement.

By evening all the vessels were taken out and the coins gems and jewels were carefully placed in the big cloth bags that were brought with them. Each bag can accommodate sixteen thousand gems or coins.The bags outnumbered the camels and elephants and horses that are supposed to bear them.

Early next morning the bags were loaded on the backs of the animals .Bullock carts also were used as they can easily accommodate more bags inside.Arjun remembered the treasure he brought for rajasuya.He could approximately count the treasure that was found now. It is half of what he brought then.As the loading was completed every one sighed with relief. The purpose for which they came got fruitful. Ashwamedha will happen without hindrance.

Arjun stood with folded hands and bowed towards Kailas Parvat. His Mahadev never let him go with empty hands.His grace is boundless just like his Madhav's love for him.

Arjun checked whether every one safely got into their chariots. As he bowed to Ved Vyas he blessed him with a smile." Yatra Yogeswarah Krishno Yatra Partho Dhanurdharah

Tatra Sri Vijayo Bhutir Dhruvaa nitir matirmama."

Sanjaya's words are facts." Where there is the yogeswareswar Krishna,where there is Dhananjaya the wielder of Gandiva, there Prosperity,Victory and Wealth happen" Vyasa repeated the verse. Arjun questioned him with naughtiness." But where is Krishna?"

Vyasa smiled and said." He lives in you. And you are also Krishna."

Arjun smiled and stated." And Rishivar,you are also Krishna."

As he ascended the chariot that sped off the mountain range,Arjun remembered his own Krishnaa who lives in him despite being away from him." Coming back Krishnaa to you . Miss you my fire born!"

Panchali averted her looks and said " Sorry if I hurt you. I didn't mean it."

Arjun looked disappointed." These are the golden words? I am hurt really now." He turned to leave.

Draupadi stood looking at his back the great physique that he always maintain with rigorous exercises.

Suddenly she felt bad to see him leave with a depressed face. She instantly stopped him by placing her hand on his shoulder." What did you expect me to say?" She asked hesitantly.

Arjun smiled with his eyes and said." Don't you know what those words are? Too smart my queen"

Panchali took off her hand and moved back. She bit her lip and said." It is fine if you think so.Go to Subhadra. She will say those golden words as you expected."

Arjun approached her and took her closer making her desparate as he did not leave any space in between,not even their breaths can stay separate that much closer he is to her.

Arjun kissed her earlobe and said firmly." I am here to hear from you not from others. Say it or We will stay like this all the night."

Panchali looked at his determined face. She remembered Kunti's words." If Phalgun is bent upon doing something no one can pull him back."

Panchali raised her lotus eyes to say the golden words.

Yes I love you Arjun." Panchali 's melodious words broke the silence that pervaded around. Arjun's face brightened and a fascinating smile appeared on his face. Before he could say anything Draupadi continued seriously." I loved you since the moment I stepped out of Fire.But I understood my feeling only after my father revealed the truth of my birth.

You motivated my birth and I stepped on this earth only for you.

I waited with bated breath when you approached the bow. My instinct told me you are my destination.And my love multiplied manifold.

I hoped my life with you will be like a dream. But I realised my union with you will be a dream.

I still loved you even when you did not oppose your mother and Eldest's decision

I devided myself among your brothers only to be loved by you and love you.

My love and my dreams were crushed I did not belong to you first but I was made to offer myself to your Eldest. Still I loved you.

You went off for twelve years I waited for you with the hope that you will return to me and fulfill my love

Whatever time is left We will be together only the two of us without any intrusion

But I heard of Ulupi who became the first beloved for you. I got angry. Still I loved you.

You proposed Chitra and married Arya. I got habituated to your betrayal.

Still I loved you.But when I saw Subhadra with you I broke down inside.

Panchali gasped to take breath but Arjun could not control his tears. He hugged her closer and hid his face on her shoulder. Yajnaseni shivered with the intensity of her love,his love and their reality.

The early morning breeze brought the much desired news to Panchali." Your Phalgun comes back" it whispered in her ears. At the daily worship Nakul broke the news. They already reached Yamuna.

They may enter Hastinapur by lunch time.

Panchali could not blink her eyes when she saw her Govind standing before her.He is smiling at her winking " I am here to welcome him. I promised him that I will be here by the time he returns.Here I am"

Panchali questioned with surprise." When did you come? Where is Satya"

Krishna informed." We came late last night. We didn't want to disturb you. Nakul knows of our arrival. Satya will meet you in a while."

The animals and bullock carts carrying wealth entered Hastinapur by mid afternoon along with Maharaj Yudhishtir and Ved Vyas.

Bheemsena asked Sahadev" Where is Arjun? Why is he not seen?"

Sahadev replied." Bhrata is sending these wealth carriers one by one. He called his officers to the outskirts and sending the wealth bags only after measuring them there..

Panchali did Arti to Maharaj." Every thing went on as expected. Nothing can cause hindrance to Aswametha now ." He informed Draupadi. Where is Kanha?" He asked.

As soon as he heard Bhrata Arjun stayed back he galloped on his horse to meet him." Nakul informed.

Panchali remembered Krishna's words before he ascended the horse." I will meet him and greet him Kalyani.My number comes first then only you can have your fill"

Panchali smiled to herself" She will never be jealous of Krishna.He has every right on Arjun more than her. She knows the truth. They are inseparable.
