It's quite clear that Yudhi with twins reached hut much earlier to Arjun-Draupadi.

Yudhi stood to gain the most in his plan with Kunti. I cannot understand people accusing Arjun being part of a plan where he stood to lose the most.

yes.That is why I quoted the poem which says Yudhi went home Not waiting in the forest.

. Much stress had been given on Arjun's youthful looks and curly locks through out the epic. In virata Parva Draupadi describes him as Yuvaanam, Deva rupinam. When she goes to Bheema to tell her troubles from kichaka.She says it torchers her heart to see the youthful,valourous and godlike Dhananjaya spend his time dancing and teaching the girls.When Arjun goes with Uttara to attack the kauravas ,he reveals his identity to Uttaranchal and gets himself ready to battle the kauravas.Vyasa describes that he tied up his black curly hair with a white cloth.No other pandava's physical appearance has been given that much space as Arjun's.Surely Arjun's good looks contributed to his charm and made him irresistible .

I think in Dwarparyuga, they aged quite well. Even as late as Kurukshetra, Sanjay describes Arjun as youthful, with blue black hair. At the same time, he mentions Drona as 'aged' 85 years man.

However, I don't think Arjun's looks figured in Draupadi's marriage. It wasn't a swayamwar where she could choose based on a suitor's external appearance.

Arjun victory was based on an archery contest, and won with his superlative skills. Its an added bonus that he turned out to be as handsome as Draupadi was , perhaps, hoping him to be.

. Yes.I agree. Ultimately Arjun's archery skills only played a crucial part in winning Draupadi's hand as well as her heart.But later as you said his good looks contributed to a great extent.Vyasa himself could'nt help but describe his complexion.curly hair ...so on.By the way you really described his long eye lashes so well.Your Arjun is very close to Vyasa's and mine too.

The udyoga Parva gives a i nice description of the two krishnas when Sanjaya visits Upaplavya. Sanjaya sees Krishna and Arjuna along with krishnaa and satya bhama.Vyasa describes them thus... Syamau. Brihantau, tarunau...They are endowed with black complexion.with high stature ,erect like saala trunks,youthful heroes...Again Vyasa indicates Arjun as well as Krishna are youthful.Surprisingly he even cares to tell about the auspicious marks on Arjun's feet that were observed by Sanjaya..None except Arjun got such privilege Vyasa sang his valour and beauty also that is due for a true hero.So the most beautiful woman's attraction towards him is highly justified.

D DVyasa described Arjuna in war episodes also.On the fourteenth day of the war when Arjun enters the sa kata vyuha to kill Jayadrath before sunset,Yudhi gets perturbed as he could not hear the Devadutta sound blown by Arjuna .He feels sad and expresses his concern about himSyamo, yuva,gudakeso ,darsaniyo mahabhujah...the one with dark complexion,youthful,curly haired,handsome to the eyes with mighty shoulders.So even in such a crucial situationArjun's beauty is given attention by Vyasa. In karna Parva ,during the battle between karna and Arjuna,karna's arrow misses the mark and throws his diadem,(kirit),away.Then Vyasa described him thus...vina Kiritam susubhe sa Parthah,syamo,yuva nila ivochasringah..Partha without diadem is shining ,dark complexioned,youthful...By using the word yuva again and again for Arjun, Vyasa indicates his youthfulness and establishes the possible age gap between him and his elder brothers.Surprisingly Nakul famous for his beauty had never drawn the attention of Vyasa as he hardly described him . Finally I would like to end the topic related to Arjun's beauty with Draupadi's description of him in virata Parva ...Tuva supriya darsanah.youthful and cynosure of the eyes due to his beauty.
