Just finished reading POI...after reading AC, I did not like the Draupadi in this too much...

Chitra Banerjee has great writing skills but she has made Drau to be a very vengeful character in this...the other shades of her character are mentioned in her soliloquy but not in any great detail...

And the number of times Drau thinks she caused the great war in this book😡
And her longing and always worrying about "you know who" gets a little annoying!!

But if you can get past all that and read it like a novel without any preconceptions, it is a good read.
