Also sorry to say over 1000 years of Muslim invasions ruined many books. The invaders used to set fire to literature and so many books were rewritten based on word of mouth so certain things were added and deleted

Also all these folklores cannot be rubbished as trash because they could be part of texts which got burnt and destroyed l

jaimini's Mahabharat could be one example

so true
no single person have courage to invite his death by donating his armour and not to forgive society for insults by donating everything he has.but karna did.without anyone's guidance and protection he lived very noble life as compared to those who had all.

yes he insulted draupadi and did some wrong deeds for duryodhan but those were not crime for which death was only punishment.

he could have all if he want but he just wanted respect
,nothing else. he never felt bad for being sutputra.

but history also cheated him with too much controversies.
that makes him tragic hero, not being abandoned child or sutputra

Yogini.. death is punishment to the survivors and not the deceased.. Karna begging Arjuna to let him lift the chariot out is to save Arjun's honor and not his own life..
