Thank you Watcher for the quote. It got me thinking how much of the original book is edited.

Diala di, my personal opinion is that Karna got liberated finally and he was blessed to see the Virat Roopa. I believe that Vishnu/Krishna wanted an end to his suffering. I'm saying this as I've read many instances where a person who finally gets liberated will have his last life very struggling which is true about Karna. I don't know whether it is there in the original text as I've not read at least a single Sanskrit version of MB. One thing I can say with the confidence of being a Sanskrit student that one reason for many version of a single book to exist is favouritism though there are a handful of other reasons too. It has happened with almost all Sanskrit books. I suspect favouritism whenever I see a riddle that can't be solved soon or a sudden ambiguous contradiction. This is only my guess. I don't have any citations. I trust in intuitions than citations. In a short span of 100 years, if the British can make Indians believe that all our Vedic culture reached India from some wandering ancestors linked to Europe, anything is possible with a 2000 year old book.
People Please don't throw tamatars at me. It will only empty your purse😆. I wanted to hurt no sentiments.
Cool!!! So the salt in your wounds was worth it, and I justified myself 😈No my wounds still hurts, but not so baldly as it was before 😃Too bad this is the last AT, or next time would have been pepper 😆
I still have the trump card. Too many nested comments, and the AT gets renamed KAUNTEYA 😈I think that should scare everyone into matching their QUOTE tags 😈😆 and not nesting
